Hi, i bought the same one for my 2019 mdx, and says its compatible. problem im running into is that the bolt seems long, and doesnt go through all the way. i checked and seems there is a metal behind each mounting hole of the car. i used a thin metal to poke it it doesnt seem like a through hole. is it same with your car?
Did you need to remove the original side sills and mud flaps? Thought I saw those steps in the instructions but you don't mention it in the video. Thanks in advance.
@@upsilon1998 Thanks for the response (and for making the video). Got them installed fairly easily - but would suggest to anyone else doing this to keep bolts between running boards and brackets a little loose while installing brackets to car. That should save a lot of frustration in terms of getting everything lined up.
It looks like perhaps you didn't really need to cut out those marked notches in the plastic under the car. Do you think you could have left them intact?
As an ACURA lover, and I am looking at purchase that particular model, THANK YOU for this video. You considering fog lamps too??
Yah that looks amazing. Nice work!
Great video my man! Thanks a million!
Looks so much better with it!!!
Hey what size are those bolts? I got these same ones and the bolts won’t fit. They’re m8-1.25
I was looking into these, do you or your family actually use them?
I have a 6&7yr old
my kids and wife do... guess it depends on how tall they are
@@upsilon1998 thanks, i appreciate the response.
Thnx
Thanks, brother!
Your link to buy this kit from Amazon shows it is Genuine Acura (08L33-TZ5-200) Running Board. Is this running boards kit fit 2016-2017 Honda Pilot?
yes it is the same model part number.
Thank you. Do they both have Acura or Honda emblem on them?
where did you buy them?

i did not have this issue. you may need to install nut clips they probably with your hardware in the packaging.

kellymurphystl I think one needed to be notched
Hi! What is the gel like item you are using on the bolts?
The blue gel is locktite and this locks the threads so the bolts dont come loose.
is it loctite? blue or red?
Blue locktite
