How To Install TAC Running Boards [Step By Step Installation Guide]

- Welcome back everyone! Today I will show you how to install Tac running boards while keeping the original look all at about half the price of OEM. Installed on a 2019 Honda Pilot. These Tac running boards go really well with your vehicle.

Nice video! QUESTION - so were you able to install the weathertech mud flaps/guards? Any reason you didn’t go with OEM parts?
Didn't do a video on it yet. Coming soon. I went with weathertech because they are bigger few inches longer than the OEM ones and goes with the lines of the vehicle.

Where can I find that crome stripping thats right near the bottom of the car door?
My brackets don't have anything marked on them, do I just assume they are all the same or take a WAG?
Depending on the make and model of the vehicle. You should have a total of six brackets. Three would be identical to the other. Front, center and rear. You should be able to figure out which are the front, center and rear by aligning the holes to the frame of the car. Does not matter left or right. Let me know if that makes any sense.

Does the TAC running rust after couple months of used and is the black rubber on top slippery thanks.
Got mine late last year 2020. Went through snow and road salt during our winter storms. This year April and May went through sand and salt water. Up to this point no rust and still good as new. Not too slippery. Mine got slippery when I added some shine dressing (meguiars). Not doing that again.
Do you have any problem when installing the running board because alot of people complaints that the hole won't align to the car hole on the back so you need to drill the bracket to make it bigger in order to fit thanks. Is the top layer plastic or rubber.
No problems at all. Hole aligns perfectly. I only had to scrape off a little silicone putty on the under body for one bracket but very minor. Scraped off with a screw driver.
No, I try to buy it this week but not sure if the hole align perfect and don't have tool to drill the hole bigger if don't fit for my 2021 pilot thanks

I don't think they are paintable. You might be right. I forget where I saw the weight capacity.
