I'm a fan of the Settlers series and have been playing since Settlers 1. I hated this game at first but I forced myself to play it as I was in such disbelief of how bad the reviews were. It grew on me to the point where it's my favorite game of the series in almost every way. Extremely challenging, especially trying to beat this level (The Center) in hardcore mode by myself 1v4 when it should be 4v4. If you own the game, I recommend playing any hardcore level all the way through. Just stay with it no matter what, once you reach victory, I think you'll see the beauty of it.
I started playing the first settlers game again, I whish they didn't get rid of certain things, like having to send geologist out to find materials to mine. I prefer the military here though.
Glad you're doing this. The campaign was annoying me a bit. The voice acting and writing is kinda meh.
"Meh", is a compliment for those dialogues. That is atrocious writing that puts ES Oblivion into shame

My child years are awake! Played years with settlers2. Is it just me this hardcore wasnt really hard? The AI did not even attack you and you killed him with third of your army

Looks so bad compared to every other settlers, well actually it looks great but after 20 minutes of play you can clearly see its bad, plays more like a bad age of empires than a settlers game.
Yeah! Ubisoft is good at one thing, making bad games with better graphic.
Hopefully, the game this one was originally touted it would be will be. Pioneers of Pagonia is scheduled to be in early access by the end of this year.
I`ve waited patiently through the last few years of Ubi`s shitmongery for this abomination to manifest. I can wait a few more months for the real deal.
Unit animations reminds of Northgard but its an indie game and not a one from AAA studio

Can't believe people actually supporting Ubisoft by buying this game and legitimizing Ubisoft's behavior after what they have done. Really liked your other series (Anno + Frostpunk)... was even considering subscribing. That's why Publishers can do whatever they want.
The Settlers New Allies might carry the name of The Settlers but god damn it was awful stripped version and crappy attempt of an Settlers game.

If I wanted to play Age of Empires I would go play Age of Empires and not this cheap rip off that doesn't even have an active multiplayer community nor active Dev's supporting the game. Pretty much DOA !!!
