Pet envy can be strong. I wonder if our pets want to steal other pets humans?
I mean hey Opposite to opposite cancels out
My goldie certainly would have no issue having a menagerie of humans to pet and pamper him.
This is true. Many pets glom onto visiting humans. You can find tales of this across the internet.
Probably!
My dog would trade me for anyone with food in their hand 😑
Sorry, Dozer ran away when I had my back turned. In other news, check out this cool dog I recently found. I think I'm going to call him Dozer.
😂😂
😂🤣❤
🤣
😂😂😂
😂🤣
How LOVELY to see a Shepherd with a proper not extreme sloped back - tremendous responsible breeding for dog health there. Dozer is gorgeous.
Yeah, he's a working breed shepherd rather than a show shepherd. It's sad that the "show breed" has to have horrendous back and hip issues because that's what stupid people view as "beautiful".
I detest show "standards". I love the new, well, breed of breeders who are going against their kennel clubs and breeding health back in. I also cannot abide people who dock a dog's tail for "beauty". It's worse than cutting a human's tongue out! It's different for medical reasons of course, but I would never forgive anyone I knew who'd want to do it for the look. It's illegal to dock a dog in my country (unless it's a vet doing it, and many won't do it for the wrong reason), but that's only a relatively recent law. Leave their tails alone!
Btw, Dozer is a stunner! ❤
@@y_fam_goeglyd One of my friends got a Rottweiler puppy early last year. Until this little guy, I'd never seen a Rottie with an intact tail in person. He carries it like a little flag, curving up over his back. It reduces the "scary intimidating big dog" factor by a lot when that massive head and engine-block chest have a wildly wagging curly-doo tail behind 'em :D (That said, he has a bad habit. Despite being alarmingly tall at the shoulder, he keeps wanting to go under things--such as tables and people--and the tail will get you right where you don't wanna be got :D)
🤣
@@redwitch12 yeah, every single rottweiler i have met wants to tunnel under things, not realizing how massive and strong they are, so they just flip over the majority of things XD
"Man is she lucky I am not a Husky".
😂
No singing at all by Dozer. Good boy! 😊
The way dozer cocks his head from left to right is just too cute!! Such a smart doggo
Cameraman probably distracting him 😊
The signature German Shepherd head cocking 😄
@@woodstream6137 Yeah, he tilted his head a few times during the groom, so I think the cameraman was trying to distract him at moments 😊. This dog is too adorable 😊
Vanessa has admitted to using treats or other distractions deliberately to get the head tilt ;)
Dozer:"You'll never hear of a groomer being stolen... that's for sure."🤨
😂😂😂😂😂
Except when it's Vanessa!
@ 3.48 Vanessa: "Stop donkey-kicking!"
Dozer: (stops donkey-kicking)
smart dog!
Missed oportunity to say dong-kicking 😂😂
Loved how he wasn't really OK with his nails being cut, but would calm down when he understood he wasn't being hurt. Makes me wonder if someone caught his quick at some point.
Some dogs just really don’t like their paws touched. Many don’t, actually. My dog was very sweet and didn’t mind you touching any part of her, but touch her paws and she’d try to take them from you. If you didn’t stop, she would snap at you.
My family's pitbull would politely pull her paws from you, tuck them under herself, and then give the most apologetic expression like, "I am terribly sorry...I'm not trying to be rude, but...could you please not touch my paws? Please? 🥺")
I had unfortunately gotten her quicks a time or two when cutting her nails, but she has always hated having her paws touched regardless (and her hate of having them touched is how I accidentally cut too low). I tried using a PediPaws but it took too long and the grinding sound scared her. Going to the vet was the best time for them to be clipped because she became a stone the moment she walked through the door, allowing the vet/vet techs to do anything they needed with no resistence.
@@BewareTheLilyOfTheValley. Same here. We can’t do it, and have scars to prove it, and it’s a toy poodle with big dog complex. (Law requires that dogs have annual rabies vaccine).
The vet tech for paw pads trim and nails, mid groom (for $5). The following month is professional groom (meaning once a month nails) He behaves like an angel for others, not for anyone at home.
I have an Irish Setter who is a sweet heart.
But he has always hated having his paws touched.
We are able to keep his back nails short from frequent walks but not always his front nails….and his dew claws.
I can get them, one or two at a time, with help from my daughters, who keep him distracted with treats.
My German Shepherd doesn’t care for his nails being clipped either and I have never once clipped the quick. Some dogs just don’t like their paws touched
Long haired sheppards have beautiful coats.
That head tilt at the end
That is a response to sounds. Dogs hear different than humans because of shape of their ears. They tip their head to pickup sound echoes.
I completely understand your sentiment. Dozer is a BEAUTIFUL German Shepherd. Good boy, Dozer!
What a handsome gentleman
I once had a German Sheppard that was so freaking smart she was like another human being...I never felt alone with her. I miss her so much.
He's a looker for sure. He clearly doesn't love grooming but he seemed pretty ok with it for the most part. He really looked great after the grooming!
Dozer is so cute, that doing the shepherd head tilt is a cuteness overload.
😍
The shepherd head tilt always makes my heart melt.
My Dozer was an Akita-Chow and he was suuuuuch a floof ball. His brother Ranger was a German Shepherd-Chow and also a mountain of fur. This made me miss them so much. It's been 13 years since I lost my Dozer and I still miss him. His ashes are in a beautiful ceramic egg that sits on my book shelf.
Our Dozer was a bloodhound. We lost him about a year and a half ago. It was nice to hear the name again.
As someone who works at a dog daycare, I understand that sentiment.
Our long-haired German Shepherd passed away at the age of 11. It has been 2 years now & we still miss him. So smart & handsome.
I think dozer liked the cameraman too. He kept giving him the cutest looks😊
Perfect example of a longhaired GSD
Gorgeous creature. I love German shepherds.
Dozer's a handsome, fluffy boy and a sweet pup. Love his adorable head tilts😊
Dozer is stunning and has a great temperament!
His face is so adorable!! Cant resist!
What a good boy ❤ you hardly ever see a dog let someone touch it's tail without having a reaction to it.
aww, he's a cutie!!! was hoping for a playdate with Lupa at the end 😅
I've had two German Shepherds and both were absolutely incredibly awesome babies. Soooooo smart. They don't care if you're sitting in their recliner, they'll share....on your lap. Beautiful Dozer is just gorgeous.
Don’t you just love a clever doggo. My dog loves the groomers, he’s a lab so snacks 😂 when he comes home we have to watch him do a catwalk up the hall so we can admire how good he looks. ❤
Dozer is a very well behaved Shepard and also gorgeous. Kudos to his owners for socializing him and getting him used to grooming.
Indeed, he's a darling -- he's been tolerating you
What a very huggable face...
He's gorgeous 😍! I love German Shepards. I was up bought with them! So loyal and loving . Great with children, fantastic family pets! ❤❤😊😊😊
What a good boy! Beautiful doggie I don’t think he’s owner would fall “he ran away”
Great to see a straight back!
If there was a perfect dog for me it would be this puppy.
Such a well mannered gentlemen.
An absolutely dashing lad!
Dozer is such a beautiful and well-behaved boy! His owners have done such a good job caring for him. He seems like a real sweetheart, too!
My favorite part of every groom is when you tidy up the Grinch feet! 😍
Such a sweet guy. Just needs to learn that if he doesn’t resist, the paws are done sooner. ❤
He is absolutely beautiful 😍
Love GSDs!! So handsome!❤
Wow, he is gorgeous and sweet!❤
What a stunner!
I love watching you groom shepherds, as a shepherd owner, because so many others seem so afraid of them while personally I find them to be the goofiest breed ever
He is so beautiful.
What a beauty.
Hey 👋🏻
Aw, I think the tufts were beautiful.
Same ❤
He's only a year old and already that big? Yikes! Aw, such a sweet face. And I guess I never noticed GSs have floofy tails like that.
Just the long-haired Shepards have extra-fluffy tails. 😊
@@tammywhite3670 Ah!
I often wonder how you can keep from petting them once you are done and just giving them a hug because they are so cute. Then I remember, you just finished “petting” them for an hour when you were grooming them. So you got your fill. He’s gorgeous!
The head tilts always get me 😍
What a handsome and well behaved dog. Those owners are lucky. 😂
Total German Shepard energy. Doesn't look to you for comfort. Doesn't show any fear. You're just sniffable wallpaper. He's a very good boy.
We are officially dog LOVER twins, you always end up falling in love with the exact ones I fall in love with from a far. We just adore the same breeds evidently.
The main thing I love about your channel is seeing such incredible love for the animals you groom.
I feel you. There’s a lot of beautiful dogs in my neighborhood who I think of snatching, but I settle for cuddles when I see them out and about.
My Shepsky looks just like him. I get compliments on how beautiful he is all the time
The most beautiful GS I have ever seen!
Dozer is just STUNNINGLY HANDSOME.....Vanessa, certainly one of the most beautiful you've shown to us recently.....and a good boy too
Good luck with the fundraiser. I know it will be a totally awesome event. I’d love to hear the music that plays sometimes with the dog running around after grooming. I totally love it.
Stephanie
He's so fluffy ughhh I wanna cuddle him
Absolutely beautiful dog
Hi 👋🏻
Dozer is not into pedicures. I loved how he turned his head side to side at the end so cute. Beautiful dog ,great groomer.♥️🤩🐾
Oh I so want Dozer! he's absolutely beautiful inside and out! His family are very lucky to have him!
What a beauty and a great temper for a shepherd Thanks for sensible responsible pet owners ❤
Such a beautiful well behaved dog!! Sop sweet!
Wow. You sound so nice. It seems you are a pet person right?
An absolutely beautiful 1 year old Dozer, just wanna hug him and call him a good boy for being so well behaved
He's so sweet it melts my heart ❤ Listen u Boyz stop arguing plz ur literally making me crazy. He is not a d bag
Dozer, what a handsome fellow. You show confidence when trimming his nails. Donkey kicking!
That dog is absolutely MAGNIFICENT looking
Dozer is definitely the Star of the show 😍 What a well behaved good boy x
Oh my, he is stunning! I never had a dog myself, but the first dog I became „friends“ with as a kid was a long haired GS named Layla. I will never forget that sweet lady. 💜
What a gorgeous machine of maintenance.
What a beautiful dog! A part of me also envies the owners.
He is sooooo beautiful. Shepherd's are just the best.
Did I say I love love love GS? Well I love GS; He looked so beautiful after his groom. Nice!
I just love GSD
That dog’s coat just gleamed in the sunshine. Very well behaved and what a beautiful creature.
He is truly a beauty and a Very Good Boy!❤❤❤
Such a gorgeous shepherd, and so well trained.
I also love it when they’re bred properly and have straight backs, it makes for a much healthier and happier dog.
There's nothing I love more than seeing how well you shape up these pets! always such clean lines
What a gentle giant.
The pup looks so photogenic
He's beautiful! I love when he tilts his head like hey what are you doing?
He’s so sweet and gorgeous. Even though I can’t have companion animals, I love them and find this show so soothing.
1:49 - don't tell me Dozer isn't a professional model!
Wow! That's a gorgeous, good boy!!!💕
I’m fascinated with the work this woman and how she handles these dogs. I don’t own a dog and there is no place for one in my life right now and never had any interest in grooming but it is amazing watching the transformation these dogs go through.
Please add the owners' reactions at the end. They bring happy tears!!!
Long haired German shepherds are GORGEOUS!
Vanessa to Dozer: Stop Donkey kicking!
Donkey waiting for their turn at the back: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Dozer is beautiful! I used to be afraid of German Shepherds because as a kid, a nearby farm had one that was really mean. He would run out in the road, chase us, and try to bite us when we rode by on our bikes. Through your channel, I have seen so many beautiful and well-behaved shepherds that I realized it was the owner's fault he was mean, not due to his breed. Thanks for helping with that childhood trauma!
I love to watch you do the feet. Most of the time your clients cooperate. You are such an artist.
Omg he is beyond stunning 😍😍😍
I've had them for 32 years and they're the best breed in the world. Love them so much 🐕🦺🐾💙🩷💙🩷
That is one handsome boy. I’d move to colder climates just to make him cozy as possible!
Very handsome and good boy! He overcame his anxiety and changed his mind about biting!😀
Thank you "groom master". Excellent work. Wonderful Germie. Thank you all.
Dozer reminds me of our family’s Khan. He was also a long haired pedigree German Shepherd, we had him from pup to death, when I was a teen to early 20’s. He survived Parvo as a puppy, but slipped off our back porch when he was about 12 years old & severly dislocated both hips. Due to age & other issues that were found he was sent over the rainbow bridge. He used to carry our cat’s kittens around with their heads in his mouth, then once he got them on the lawn, in the sun, he would lick their coats clean & watch them play, climbing all over him, he was their personal jungle gym. 8’m now in my mid 50’s & he is still my favourite childhood/teenage dog.
Such a wonderful result !!! ❤🦘
I love that he went in and got with a quick kiss, Vanessa.
U really have the best job working with animals ❤
