Was looking at one of these a few months ago. I like the green and the beige / sand dial.

Very nice - looks like my kind of watch.
The price (especially on the bracelet) puts this in the same ballpark as a lot of tool watches from both microbrands and more mainstream watches.
Definitely worth considering - thank you for sharing, Will.

Thanks for the review. The pictures on Circula's site do not do this watch justice.
"In the flesh" this is an exceptionally nice looking watch. And ooowheee that case!

Thanks giving us a look at this. On the wrist it looks awesome, I'd be tempted but it's a bit up there cost wise. The design on the caseback looks like it represents contour lines on a map which would be appropriate for the "Protrail" .

Surprising to see a 40.3mm fits a smaller wrist so well. I guess it's the shorter lug-lug-lug that makes it wearable. Nice piece, wish better lume and half the price 🙂

Like the look of sandblasted steel.

Nice looking watch, like the case design but its a bit steep price wise.
The boldr expedition is a nicer watch for about 25% less.
The super sport is lovely and for less money!!!

I like this one a lot but the movement could be better.

Out of curiosity, what would you prefer to see? An elaboré grade SW200 that's been further regulated to -5/+7 spd seems about right for the price range and field watch genre. You wouldn't expect to see something in house for the price for sure. Maybe an SW300 for the longer power reserve, but then if the case was slimmer you'd lose some of the design character, so the 300 would be a bit overkill. Or were you thinking a Miyota or Seiko and reduce the price? I think the choice they made is decent for the overall package. But curious what you meant by could be better?

It looks the part but jeez’o it’s a bit pricey. If I’m buying a tool watch to sling on my wrist when I’m oot on an ‘adventure’ then it’s gonna be a Timex Expedition or a Citizen Promaster Tough or similar. Certainly not a watch that costs a grand.

The same could be said about Sinn to be fair, everyone has different budgets.
