    The Big Chute is interesting in how they keep the flathead level through the transition.

    When asking the lock attendant questions how did you get such great sound from him? Your videos are so good and informative, me and my wife love it.

    I'm so sorry you slid down the stairs. When I was growing up my parents owned a Western store that had tough work books. Two types were Wolverine and Redwing. They had good sturdy soles and in some cases were steel toed. I'm not sure how these would work with the water, but you might look them up. I love your attitude and your willingness to try everything. That Chute lock was really cool. Thanks for sharing the drone footage from above. I wasn't sure if you ever shared your first name or not, but I watched other videos on your channel and heard you say "Michael V," so nice to meet you Michael.

    How was your trip across Lake Simcoe? That's my boating playground. The Big s Chute is awesome. Enjoy and have a safe trip on Georgian Bay.

      Simcoe was a little rough. Had to get up on a plane to handle the distance.

      There is really no way to put everything into my videos. I’m pretty consumed with planning, boating, maintenance, making meals, etc. Putting together comprehensive videos would be a full time job for a second person. I am trying my best.
      Cheers.

    Glad you are enjoying our locks! You are travelling with that twin outboard boat, that I've seen a couple times in your videos. I'm very curious what kind of boat that is..... Any idea?

      Yes I have. Using an Excel spreadsheet for every expense. I plan on doing a Q&A video once I get back in the States. Probably around the end of August. Stay tuned.

    Isnt the host country flag supposed to be on top

    • @Rev1Kev
      @Rev1Kev 6 месяцев назад

      No, the host country flag should be on its own mast, and fwd of the flag of origin, the home country flag should be flown from the stern of a vessel,

      You know, that is an interesting question which I have asked many, many times with local boaters here in Canada. The response I have gotten from everyone I have asked is “No clue”, or “Don’t think it makes a difference “ eh.
      From what I can surmise, flag etiquette is a prominent distinction on International and military ships. It really is quite optional on pleasure crafts and up to the owner.
      I see the skull and crossbones flown on many of pleasure crafts because they think it’s cool, that doesn’t mean they are Pirates. Just my observations.
