when you said that you'll gonna make a tutorial for this vest, i genuinely thought it would be only 20-30 min long. i appreciate the amount of time you took to demonstrate all these details so it would be easier to understand
Top is lovely. I don’t want to make this at the minute but I’ve watched anyway for two reasons…. One to support you and your fab channel and B) so I don’t have to wait til weds to see a vlog and have withdrawal lol 😂😂😂
Hi Kelsie, I just finished making the top with acrylic yarn, I will wear it on top of a white shirt during fall/winter. I used grey (main color), light blue, navy blue and cream. Tutorial was really easy to follow and I made the vest in 4 days, taking my sweet time. Thanks for making a video of quality, there are a lot of tutorials on RUclips but not everyone can teach crochet as good as you. Wish you the best with your business
Hi Kelsie I made this vest in blue green ombré just 2 granny squares no changing colours and followed the decreases you made and the side panels and it turned out amazing. Thank you so much for your tutorial it’s the best❤
This is spectacular!! I cannot wait to give it a try! I gotta finish some other work first though. 😅 (I have 7 projects on my bed currently. Not including the project bags around the house. Maybe I should start streaming so I can get stuff done. Lol)
While I personally was not interested in the top itself, you are sharing some fire granny square hacks in this. I never considered doing my ends that way and I now need to try
I am so glad I took the time to watch this tutorial, because even though I know how to make it, this is more or less what I do most of (just with sweaters and cardigans), there were lots of small tips about how to end the round, make stacked single crochet etc, - so thank you SO much for this tutorial 😀
I decided on Thursday to make a Christmas vest after seeing you make one for vlogmas and I am almost done with it! Really great tutorial so easy to follow!
Started mine finally! Absolutely loving working on it so far. I do have the Granny Vortex Of Doom happening though because I wanted my stitches to all be the same way (edit: and I’m a beginner with wonky tension lol). Do y’all think I should block my front & back squares first *before* continuing with straps/sides etc? Or just keep going and block as a whole at the end? (First time making something like this)
Great explanations for each row! Makes total sense to me. Going to get measurements for 7 year old granddaughter to make her one for her birthday in January!
You are so fantastic as what you do love your channels thanks for sharing this would be better with written script especially for the deaf people thanks for sharing
I just started this cardigan. It will the very first I am crocheting all because your tutorial instructions are easy to follow. Thank you. Once I have completed I will post you.
new to your channel and such a big fan of your tutorials! i wanna suggest a topic! i'd love to see how you launder and care for your home made garments. i've always avoided making my own crocheted tops bc i am afraid of washing them. another topic i'd love to see is how garments you've made have held up over time and what has helped items hold up better. thank you (even if u don't choose to make a vid on these)!
Perfect timing. I wanted to make this top frome the day I saw it on your travel vlog. My cousin and my crush are both going to be happy for their bithdays. Making summer tops for both of them and now Im also making them this top
Any recommendations on how to add long arm sleeves to this if we wanted? Or maybe a video of someone doing something similar to this that adds sleeves on?
great! thank you! i was waiting for that!! and also i wanted to ask, can you recommend a tutorial or pattern for a solid v-neck vest? i'd really appreciate that have a great evening! mine is certainly better because of your work!🧡🧡
love this one! gonna take a lot of finagling to get it to work for my fat ass lol Wish me luck! 🤗💗🦊🤣 I used to be built just like you, waaaaay long time ago! Thanks menopause!
If I wanted to add sleeves because I love long sleeves but love the look of this could I just attach to the armpits and continue with the clusters all the way down??
I'm way much older (and fat) for a tight fitting vest, but I watched it because I always learn something when you teach. This time, I finally understood how to make the faux stitch with the tapestry needle, how to weave ends ultra securely, and how to make ribbing at the end. I only knew how to do ribbing at the start. Thank you, Kelsei. ❤
Have you tried the pink Tulip crochet hook ? I felt that after your mail video you’d use it immediately lol If you enjoy that I might buy the tulip red set 😅
when you said that you'll gonna make a tutorial for this vest, i genuinely thought it would be only 20-30 min long.

I’m 70 yo and my aunt made these vests for me when they were popular in the lates 60’s.

I love it❤. I am thinking to add a frill to make it a peplum top or maybe attach like an A line skirt🥰🥰🥰🥰. Thanks a lot.
This brings back flashbacks to my college years in the 1970’s.

Thanks so much, you are really a great teacher. I've been crocheting for 20 years and still always learning new tricks from your tutorials.

Pro tip: Never measure when sitting down 😂
