Wow, what a memory. This song was their breakthrough hit and it was a MONSTER. One of the most-requested songs of the 70's.
Do the song Money Honey!
No it wasn't there breakthrough hit, it was near the end of there career , do your research
@Sidneyvicious no you are wrong. This was there first single. I know I was there.
People made fun of them, but they were severely mismanaged and ripped off. There is a supposed 150 million in royalties missing. The "Behind The Music" documentary on their story was awesome. They reunited in the 90s, because of a trivia question on a Japanese Game show. This song was featured, the young kids in crowd went nuts, that they reaired the show a week later. The show sent the hosts to Scotland, to ask regular people if they knew who they were, and a local told them that he just had a drink in a pub with 2 of them. He then took them to the pub, an interview was done, and the rest is history.
Yes, they probably are in the Top 10 list of bands getting screwed over by their management.
I loved the Bay City Rollers and their music.
Same story with David Cassidy
Tam Paton did a number on them, for sure. Not just ripping off their money, but he wanted to control every aspect of their image. He wouldn't allow them to date, even though they were healthy young men. He worked them half to death, too from what I understand. It's just so, so sad that so much sorrow has come from what started out as happy and danceable music.
@@Cheryltwin2012 he sexually abused them and drugs were involved. I think more than two of the band members were raped. There were inappropriate pictures. I feel like Alan escaped that as he was the oldest one and pedophile don’t like old ones.
The 12 year old me couldn't help but sing along !
Neither could the 6 year old me.
ruclips.net/video/CGD27WgtKhI/видео.html I also liked this one, I Only Wanna be With You,originally done by Dusty Springfield. Both are great.
These guys were all over the covers and inside the pages of 16 Magazine and Tiger Beat Magazine throughout most of the 70’s Cute and talented 🙂❤️
Same with me!
Jr High vibes!
Damn. This was my childhood. 8 years old and I was rocking. Like a transition from the country 70's vibe I had known to the rocking 80's. The drums just get you going.
I was about the same age, and for some reason, I couldn't quite make out the lyrics.. It started out S. A. and then? I though it was something like "d-a-rock", which was then repeated again, and a final "Night!". Did I just not make the connection?
Same age. Great year for good music 👍
Same age.
Yes, I was the same age.
Same here! We had the best music as kids here in 0z during the 70s. BCR were absolutely massive down here in Australia, like Abba-level popular (though not as long-lasting).
When they played this song at the Roller Rink we would skate really fast and pump our fists singing SA-TUR-DAY NIGHT!
Yup. It’s a time and memory I think no matter where you lived we were all doing it.
Oh yeah, this song was the quintessential roller rink anthem back in the day
@@karlsmith2570 And The Macarena song 😂
@@karlsmith2570 This and Blondie's Heart of Glass and ABBA's Dancing Queen & Take a Chance on Me were all roller rink hits!
@RaymondBCrisp Well, the ones by Blondie and Abba, I was already familiar with being roller rink staples, but I personally didn't know that this one was also
Oh my word!! I listened to the Bay City Rollers like 45 years ago!! Absolutely loved them!!
So good hearing The Bay City Roller again. I was a big fan back in the day. I used to have the flared jeans and white flares with tartan trim, scarves, as well as shirts and tartan converse.
I remember tracks such as "SUMMERLOVE SENSATION" and "SHANG-A-LANG" and "GIVE A LITTLE LOVE" and "BYE BYE BABY" and "REMEMBER" and "MONEY HONEY" and "KEEP ON DANCING" and many more.
I too had my 'Roller Strollers', T-shirt, stripey socks and scarf. Also had a bracelet I bought at the first concert I went to and I wore a letter 'E' for Eric on a chain around my neck.
Yes! Saw them in concert in Chicago! My mom was kind enough to put plaid on my bell bottoms and also made my shirt pocket plaid! Still get a thrill when I hear them! ❤
ROLLERMANIA! One of the original boy bands! This came out in 1974. I was sooooo in love with Leslie! Thanks for the walk down memory lane!
For me, it was always ERIC...and still is! Would love to see him play today (even if it's folk music and not "roller" music).
@@michelerosevear7466 I gotta admit as I look back at the boys, Eric was better looking and still is. What did I know. I was 11. 😊
@@Stephanie-ik1vq He's still pretty good lookin' (I think); can't beat his blue eyes!
I remember being a 11 year old when this song was out, and just starting to like girls. All the girls went nuts over this song and these guys and I remember absolutely hating them! I just didn't understand why the girls went so crazy over them and I was so confused and jealous. Hearing this song now always makes me smile and laugh at that 11 year old kid I once was.
Eric had the most gorgeous blue eyes!
5 year old me used to call radio stations and request this song. They could never resist a kid. 😂 (if I remember, this was around the same time as “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart”, which you recently covered).
Yep, the Elton/Kiki song hit #1 about 7 months after this song.
Me tooo!
❤love 5 year old you- I was there too!
I was the one at parties who had to talk people out from under bed or closet. Some drugs do that. Kept me from doing hallucinating drugs 😂if I put a drink down I never picked it up again lol 😂 so I believed in it all peace and love. But no LSD etc. Even at Woodstock they got on stage and warned about some bad lsd going around ❤ Even the Beatles had their drink laced for first time by his dentist! They loved it. Most did. I kept talking people down ❤
Omg…this song made me want to be a teenager so bad! I was about 6 I think, and the “big kids” were sooo cool! 😎
Almost the dictionary definition of "pop anthem". It's catchy, easy for the audience to participate in, with great harmonies.
Yep, this was totally written as an "anthem" song.
IMO.....This was the continuation of 60s "bubble gum" pop
What a legendary band, I’m from their hometown Edinburgh, Scotland. Class vid!
@Ben Odlin I wonder what Craig Ferguson thought of this song? 🤔
This song sticks with you...my 4 yr old was spelling the days of the week a while back and I couldn't help myself from yelling night when she finished Saturday!
Ahhh... the memories... roller rinks, carnivals, riding in the back of pickups, hide and seek at night with the neighborhood friends and a flash light... Camping at the lake... Great reaction. Thank you.
Can you imagine.. hide and seek! Never happen now.
You didn't have a pond and rope swing by any chance?
The first band i loved. Still remember all the words to all their songs. RIP Leslie McKeown, Alan Longmuir from the original line up.
Omg when did Leslie die? 🪂😢
@@shapeach In 2021.
*I watched one of the seasons of a show called 'Rehab' and Les McKeown (singer) was in there. Things that happened with the group, management, and his personal life was discussed but he talks about the trauma of being raped when he was a teenager during his time in the band. At 19, he also hit an elderly woman (his neighbor) with his car and she died from her injuries. It was an accident but the guilt just about killed him too. He talks about how hard it was at times to get up there and sing all these fun, upbeat songs when inside he was hurting so bad. He passed away last year. RIP and thank you for the music you gave us even when you were in your own pain.*
I remember that show!!
I was in college in the '90s and this song was featured in the movie So I Married An Axe Murderer which was one of my friend's favorite movie at the time. One night we were going out on a Saturday night and he started us all (a group of 12) in a chant of "S--A-T-U-R-D-A-Y NIGHT!" as we were heading down the dorm stairs to go to the bar. It's 27 years later and I remember it like it was yesterday. And I always think of him when I hear this song.
HEED!
PANTS!
NOW!

"He's got a heed like sputnik"
He’ll be crying himself to sleep tonight on his huge pillah.
I was loving this song in 1974 as a kid, me & my sister were in love with the Bay City Rollers!!
I'm a 69 year old great grandmother. Back then (probably before this song was popular), Saturday night was THE night of the week. Girls all went to town with curlers in their hair to show that they had a date for Saturday night! LOL Drive-in movies, parking (hugging and kissing) on an old dirt road or going to a school dance ... we had them every weekend in Jr. High School! Oh, I miss those days!
Now everybody sits on the couch in their baggy sweatpants for date night with netflix. 😭
and if you had a date you washed your car inside and out
My father would not let us listen to rock and roll music in our home so this was one of my very first albums that I bought and had to hide at my neighbors house and go over to rock out to it!! It brings back such awesome memories of my childhood regardless of the excessive restrictions placed on me by my over bearing father. S A T U R D A Y....NIGHT!!!
I was allowed to listen to whatever I wanted, but my dad made it clear that he couldn't stand bands like Skid Row, Motley Crue, Bon Jovi, etc... LOL
@@BillGraper My dad was extremely strict so the closest to rock and roll we were ever allowed to listen to was his Elvis record. I grew up on all classical, Marty Robbins, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra......LOL
@@daricetaylor737 To be fair, even what you *could* listen to was pretty epic!
@@KozmikZootz Yes, I agree with you there! I have a very vast experience with music and there was plus side to growing up as I did.
Was a young little girl and my oldest sister (RIP) absolutely loved BCR....had their poster plastered on her wall. Used to jam to this song and when got older and roller skate nights we'd have them play this 🕊️💗
Oh my Bay City Rollers. I loved them so much no matter the teasing I got. Fun fact: I have their greatest hits CD in my car right now. Thanks for bringing back lots of great memories.
That was one way of learning how to spell Saturday and that was through this song. And because of the little boy in a commercial, we all learn how to spell. "Oscar Mayer Bologna"
Yes. Our songs were kind of like our teachers. Lol. And also learned how to spell Y.M.C.A.
@@ruthharris6783 yep You are so right
My first major crush on a pop band! I was 10! Loved this song! 😆
We had this 45 growing up, so I'm super familiar with the song. It came out around October 1975 & hit #1 in early January 1976. Great tune!!! This is easily their best song.
I remember this mostly from the roller rink on Saturday night. This was an "All Skate" song. Skating around in circles with disco lights flashing and great music playing! Kids these days don't know what they are missing. There was something carefree about roller skating to music. I loved it and I love this song!
I dressed up like them when I was 13 years old and saw them in concert at Six Flags lol
I was 16 and had full Roller gear, I even had my waist length hair cut into a Tufty like Eric's. Eric made my little heart sing. LOL
@@ElectroT0y OMG...Eric was so gorgeous; love his blue eyes (and his music) to this day. My favorite pic of him was when he was wearing a white (short) kimono robe sprawled out on a bed!
@@michelerosevear7466 I remember that pic!
@@ElectroT0y I'm thinking of making a calendar of BCR pics for the coming year; that pic will definitely be in it!
@@michelerosevear7466 I just found a pic of Eric wearing a t-shirt that says "Stamp Out Virginity". LOL
I was. a HUGE Bay City Rollers fan, and still am. Great that another generation is giving them a listen ❤️
My first ever concert I got the tickets for my 13th birthday and I was crazy about them, I wore my roller strollers and loved every second of it ❤ thanks for the memories guys 😘
Haven't heard this in a long time. Great dancing song! Love Amber chair dancing! I never noticed that organ part in the background before.
They got their name by throwing a dart at a map of the United States and it landed near Bay City, Michigan and they turned it into The Bay City Rollers. Bay City is also the birthplace of Madonna.
my older sister got me into them. the problem was that as soon as they got popular, the fad died. they had a saturday morning kids show. but it was all done so fast! they were fun, and short lived.
Mine as well
Forgot about the TV show. Also reminded me of The Monkees show and The Partridge Family. Such was the time
I used to tape their songs from the TV with a cassette recorder. 🤣
In the mid 70's there was no bigger band the BCR! The Bay City Rollers popularity was compared to the popularity of the Beatles. They had the teenyboppers screaming just like the Beatles in their early days. I saw them many times through the years. The first time I saw them was in February of 1976 when I was 16 years old. I was one of those screaming in my seat. I was a HUGE BCR fan. I even had my waist length hair cut into the short, BCR hair style. My mother freaked out on me when I came home with my hair cut.
In 1990, after a New Rollers show Eric invited me and my then wife into the band's travel RV after we asked for autographs. He didn't have to give us the time of day, but we hung out and drank beer with him cause my ex wife was a huge fan. Amazingly Cool human being. Thanks Eric!
This is my childhood! What a memory I was a teenager in the 70s n we played this so many times at the local roller skating rink on Friday and Saturday nights! Thanks for the memory!
Saturday Night by the Bay City Rollers charted on Billboard charts on October 11, 1975 and it peaked at number 1 and was there for 1 week and this was there first single and there biggest hit.
I remember seeing them perform this song on Howard Cosell's short lived TV show.
Omg I used to worship these guys when I was a pre-teen. I haven't heard them in decades. Their videos are good
This was one of the many songs my parents would let us sing to, Every Saturday night on our way to the drive -in or coming back from the beach, every station would play this song, my two sisters and I in the back seat of our "Family Truckster" Station Wagon bopping and singing away to this song. 😁💖🎵🎉!!!
Another hit from the old K-TEL albums! KC and the Sunshine Band used to feature regularly!
You had to be there ~ in the early 70's Teen Girls bought 80% of all records sold they mostly bought records by cute guys ~ teen mags like "Tiger Beat" were the hottest around ~ we had an entire department set aside to manage fan clubs
A monster smash hit for this group one of the top selling songs and biggest hits of 1976. beings back childhood memories.
I can't put into words just how huge the Bay City Rollers were in the late 70's. They were literally bigger than the Beatles. They had their own tv show, ever single teenage girl covered her walls in posters and magazine pictures of the band. They were a world wide phenomena for a couple years.
I was around when the Beatles made it big in the US. They were not bigger than the Beatles.
They were a fresh group.
You hit it on the head.....for a couple of years. Beatles are still here....almost 60 years later. 👍✌️🇨🇦
@@johnw5584 The Rollers did outsell The Beatles in the UK. Just consider how quick The Rollers swept in then swept out. Bay City Rollers were still going at a lesser presence until just about 10 years ago, they were the equivelant to todays famous boy bands
@@marybaillie8907 Their music is but not as a band. The Beatles died out as a band in 70/80's. Bay City Rollers' music is with us today aswell
I was one of those teenagers who had them all over my walls (esp. Eric)! It would be nice if "classic rock" radio would play more of their music now (not just "Saturday Night")...might be a pleasant surprise.
Great reaction! Have y’all covered a band called Sweet? They had a lot of hits in the 70’s around the same time as the Bay City Rollers. Fox On The Run, Love Is Like Oxygen, and Ballroom Blitz. This song is funny because a lot of modern hip-hop spells out a lot of words and you can see they were doing stuff like that back in the 70’s.
I was born in 74 and in the late 70's my mon would take me to swimming lessons and I absolutely would have to listen to this song on the 8 track player in the car. To this day I Love this song
Ok now you need to hear more ( "The Sweet" - Fox on the Run - Teenage Rampage - Love is like Oxygen - Blockbuster)
Jay & Amber, you may like their "Money Honey"and "Bye, Bye, Baby"! My sister had an album of theirs.
Yes, I can relate, my sister had all their albums.
Same here...my oldest sister(8 yrs older) had their poster and loved them....this song really got me happy and dancing 😁
I was a teen in the 70's and a massive Baycity Roller fan. I still have six of their albums.
Amber's jaw drop when Jay said it wouldn't go on his playlist 🤣🤣🤣
I remember being about 6 years old and seeing BCR on tv in their tartan plaid bell bottoms and platform shoes and, being a fashionista at a very early age, I desperately wanted to dress like that lol.
I did actually have the plaid pants but didn't get the platforms till they were in again in the 90s.
You need to see them to really get it. Not just one of the biggest hands of the 70s, they created a whole fashion style too. Closest thing to Beatlemania we had was the following for these guys.
Seen them the night Elvis died. Came home and my uncle left A message telling us Elvis died. I was 10
I will always remember hearing the news that Elvis died. I was on the way to the hospital, as it was determined I had type 1 diabetes. I could still drive to the exact spot I heard the news over the radio. Etched into my brain. I was 9.
Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow is Steve Ray Vaughan’s birthday I would love too see you react to his video Life Without You live at the Capital Theater PLEASE check it out I know you will enjoy it it has a great message that fits y’all perfectly and of course his singing and guitar playing is top notch
Hell any SRV songs on his birthday would be great

@@troysaylors2177 yes BUT that song is about missing someone special and you have too admit he was special too all that love / like him and his music
I cant even tell what a huge hit this was. I think it was about 1976. I am glad you did this one it's always been one of my favorites. When you think of the 70s think of a world without the internet and without your cellphone. So people went out to movies and watched tv. Skating rinks were big skating to your favorite songs. You might think how could you live without the internet or cellphones but when something doesnt even exist you dont know you are missing out. You actually had to physically talk to someone or call someone to have a conversation.
Bay City Rollers song "Bye bye baby was used in the awesome movie "Love Actually". The context use of the song is a hat moment!! Great band🎶🎶🎶🎤🎤🎤
Great movie for movie night...hint hint!
There is NO WAY you can sit still on this song❤❤❤❤
Bay City Rollers had a string of catchy hits in the 70s. "I Only Wanna Be With You" "Saturday Night" "Money Honey" "Rock-n-Roll Love Letter"
I don't think you two guys understand just exactly how iconic this song was back in the early seventies! I mean massive. You heard it on the radio and roller Mania was on fire! I was 11 or 12 years old then right up through my teen years and this song was massively famous.
I remember roller skating to this song at the skating rink back in middle school!
This song came out when I was 2 years old, but I remember being like 7-8 years old and having the 45 (record) of this and playing it over and over again on my first record player 😊
Definitely 70's✌️ an actual boy band! They all played instruments 😊
I had the 45 of this song and played it all the time. Probably around 1977. Also, couldn’t roller skate without this song! ❤❤
Oh, Jay, this has been on my playlist since I was 7 years old. :D I loved the BCR as a child. Other songs to check out: "Marlina", "Shanghai'd In Love", "Maybe I'm A Fool To Love You", "You Made Me Believe In Magic", "The Way I Feel Tonight", "It's A Game", "Dedication", "Rock & Roll Love Letter", "My Lisa", "Too Young To Rock & Roll". and then from their post-teenybopper phase in 1979/80, "Turn On the Radio", "Playing In A Rock & Roll Band", and "Washington's Birthday". Can ya tell I have everything they ever released?
By early 1975, they were one of the biggest-selling acts in the UK. The successful 1975 UK tour prompted newspaper headlines about the rise of "Rollermania" (a take-off on Beatlemania a decade before).
Even though they had many massive hits here in the UK, this wasn't one of them, but it got to Number 1 in America :)
This came out in 1976, and it is a song that never gets old....
...you never get tired of listening to it, and singing along :)
This was a high school song for me, and it is super fun to hear it ----any day of the week!
♥♥♥♥♥ (It's a fun way to teach kids how to spell the days of the week too)
I was 9! I remember them being on the cover of Dynamite magazine and I remember the song from the skating rink. Back in the days when the parentals would just drop us off at the rink with our older cousins. Good times.
OMG That is such such a big rush. Fun fact, BCR preformed Saturday Night for the first time in the US on the fist episode of Saturday Night Live with Howard Cosell on September 20, 1975. I was 13 and I had a big crush on them.🤩
I just mentioned that... Looks like you beat me to it. 😊
I’m at the age where I can’t remember where I put my glasses, but I know the lyrics to this song!
I was absolutely crazy for this group back in the day. Their manager ripped them off big time and they ended up with no money going to guys in the group. It was through this groups mismanagement that the law was changed regarding loyalties.
The band went to the USA and this song was a hit for them there.
I had the pleasure of seeing the lead singer (Les Mckeown)in a concert a few years ago now. It was a joy to join in singing the old songs again. Sadly Les passed away last year (2021) at the age of 66.
Love this song!!! I had it on a 45! Played it over and over!!!
Brought back SO many memories !! I LOVED the Bay City Rollers !! Had their posters on my wall !
Five seconds of this song and I'm back at my 7th grade end-of-year dance. Me and my friends are standing around eating cookies and watching cooler kids dance.
I remember driving downtown on a Saturday night in my friend's Ford Galaxie, just before we graduated high school in 1976, rocking to this song on an 8-track tape. 🤣🤣🤣 So many great songs. Bye Bye Baby is one of my fav's.
Every Saturday night in the small town I grew up in, there was the Saturday Night Adult (Liquor) Dance at the local arena. When this song came out (mid-70s) I was finally old enough to go to those dances & to the bar (legal age was 19) and it was played at every one of these dances to get people up on the dance floor. Unfortunately on Saturdays it was also played on the juke box at the local pool hall/arcade and in the bar prior to the dance as well. You couldn't escape this song. I honestly got sick of it pretty fast and though I had bought the cassette when it first came out, I tossed the cassette in the garbage. This was my first time hearing the song since the 80s and I have to say that I thankfully no longer cringe when I hear it anymore. I guess the 30 year break from hearing it and my old age has mellowed me. LOL
I was in grade 5 when I was introduced to this song, our whole class was, by a couple of very cute girls in that class that did a show and tell, that loved this song. Soon everyone was loving it.
When the Bay City Rollers broke out, the CBC here in Canada broadcast their, I believe, live concert. I was about 13. It was a pretty big deal as they seemed to be the next big band. I made sure I was home to watch it!
it's hard to describe just how huge a hit this song was worldwide
Before I even watch your reaction I'm going to say thank you! This one's going to bring me back. No more comment I know you guys are going to react like I reacted when I was a kid! Thanks for all your great work God bless and keep it up. And at the end of this video I wasn't wrong.
My cousin and I was in love with this band. Seen them live they were great! We drove my aunt crazy with their music
Ah, the memories...I can remember watching the Bay City Rollers Saturday morning show. Absolutely loved them. I think they were the beginning of my love for rock n' roll at the tender age of 3.
Wow guys, thanks for the nostalgia! I was 12 years old in the mid 70s when this song
came out and I've been vibing to it ever since! lol
You got to watch their videos, and the clothes they wore....I believe a couple of the guys, have passed, but they live on for many of us...!!!💜❤
I actually saw them in concert when i was 16 back in 1976. It was an awesome concert. I had a blast!
Money Honey, Rock and Roll Love Letter, You Made Me Believe in Magic, the Bay City Rollers have had quite a few well-known hits. Jay would probably put Money Honey on his playlist.
My 5 yr old self remember listening to the Bay. City Rollers short lived variety show they had in the 70s. This was the so g they used as the opening for every episode and they played it live in studio...
One of these days, check out Nick Lowe's "Bay City Rollers We Love You" AND video of Nick telling the story behind it. For that matter, check out Nick Lowe's biggest hit "Cruel To Be Kind."
Omg!! Memories of playing this record and dancing around my living room…….
This brings me back to the age of 8, LOVED this song. And apparently I remember all the words. They had a TV show also in the 70s.
My best friend in elementary school, Ana, had posters of Bay City Rollers all over her room, bought every issue of Tiger Beat magazine, and we would play this album cranked way up loud. I loved the band back in the day, and would sing along every time I heard them. I still have a nostalgic soft spot, and will listen every once in a while.
Late 70's music. I remember watching them on a variety show that Howard Cosell (of Monday Night Football)hosted.
That was America's first taste of the Rollers. The show was even called "Saturday Night". The song shot straight up the charts from there.
Sure did!
My brother had this on 8-Track back in the Dizzay, (Circa 1975-76) Brought back memories TYVM
The Ramones "Hey oh let's go!!" in Blitzkrieg Bop was inspired by the S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y. chant.
When this song was out i was about 11 or 12, so my Saturday nights consisted of staying up late to watch Saturday Night Live. Their cast and the musical guests were incredible back then.
When I got old enough to drive or to have friends with cars our Saturday nights were considerably less wholesome but very typical for teens in the 1979-83 period. We would cruise around or hang out at places like cemeteries and drink beer, smoke pot, listen to hard rock and heavy metal, and make out with the girls. I used to give my parents all kinds of grief, but for all of you parents out there take heart because as wild as I was, when I was 20 I joined the Air Force and started to mellow out. By the time I left the military I preferred nice quiet nights at home to wild nights out partying. I'm not going to deny that I had some serious fun as a teen, but by my mid 20s I had grown up and had a different idea of fun.
Loved this song as a little kid. Still waiting to hear some Osmonds “Down By the Lazy River”, “Crazy Horses” and some of the early Jackson 5 songs.
As a kid I loved their Saturday Morning TV show.
Their biggest hit was Bye Bye Baby. I remember in 1976 I had a white short sleeved shirt and my sister sowed on red tartan to the sleeve ends and the shoulders and all the women loved it, the Rollers were huge back then.
in the UK yes, but Saturday Night went worldwide
A catchy tune all ways sells. Learn to spell, with rockn'roll. Just a fun song. Hey Jordan someone commented tomorrow's SRV's birthday! Thanks again for this smile.
Almost time for some Partridge Family, David Cassidy and Shaun Cassidy.
Wow! The memories this song brings back! My sister's and I jammed to it all the time✌❤🎶
I was 14... and this song was strong in the teen beat generation. You can't deny it's catchy and will always be one of those One Hit Wonders that go in the mix and remind everyone of a more innocent time!
@Raiderblack No doubt, this song was perfect for one of those K-Tel albums. 😊
These guys were on the cover of just about every Tiger Beat magazine!!
Such a fun jam from the 70s a true classic roller rink jam...Fun memories, Thanx so much, Much love many Blessings
OMG! love this! A few of my friends back in the day were in love with these guys. They were all over the teen magazines! A few of them have passed, sadly, but they were a fun band!
Finally! I have been waiting for you to get to my favorite band from my teen years and the song my daughter and I duet to.
They got their name by sticking a pin into a map of the USA.
I remember as a boy visiting Les' farm near Bathgate, West Lothian in Scotland as my dad was "asked" to repair his car which was involved in an accident.
Unfortunately, Les was on tour at the time so I never got to see him
Great band and great memories.
