finally the spring has arrived and the cherries have bloom. Congratulations on 100k subscribers. can we get a detailed video on painting of cherry blossom to commemorate your journey and your success of 100k.[biggest fan of you can i get a pin🥺🙏]
Pinned! :) There are so many flowers I still haven't explored here! I think I need to paint Dahlias and Gladiolus before returning to cherry blossoms {I painted them a few years ago} ❤
You were spot on with having the chipmunk munching on a chestnut shell. Mice, chipmunks, squirrels, and other eating machines love chestnuts, even empty chestnut shells that remain months after the seedling has sprouted and is thriving. So you could not have made a better and more appropriate choice of a snack for the chipmunk. It is exactly what he would munch on in real life. I like the composition just the way it is, it is pleasantly busy. It gives the impression of abundance, like a fall cornucopia of woodland flora and fauna. I am always blown away by your sheer talent and artistic skill. This is my favorite painting of all the paintings I have ever seen you create.
@@hawkeye9382 It's not just the final result, its the way he uses watercolor. Only 1 or 2 more artists, can create with watercolors and making it look like it was a colored pencil drawing, with fine details etc. She has mastered the most difficult art medium,to the highest level!!
This painting has a magical feeling - like I've entered the tiny world of the forest floor. Lovely colors and music accompaniment, too. Congratulations on 100K subscribers! 💕💕
Since you mentioned that you aren’t sure if your little buddy eats chestnut shells…the yellow mushroom looks more like a chanterelle, because the gills go down the stem. That’s one of the most distinctive characteristics of the chanterelle. On the saffron milk cap, the gills stop abruptly, and the stem begins. I love this painting so much. I am a patreon member and I can’t wait to try this wonderful painting.
I know that chipmunks eat hazelnuts and walnuts but I never saw them eat chestnuts. I think the chestnut shells could be toxic for them. They like different seeds like the seeds of a fir that is in the cones. But it's still very adorable how it is holding the chestnut shell. It's good that it is for a decorative subject matter because there are a few chestnuts and the small part of the shell brings it together. Thank you so much for sharing, Anna!
Stunning painting and wonderful details! I especially love that violet glow on the mushrooms, makes them look so real. I am always learning something new by watching your videos. Thank you! ❤
This is my favourite to date. I really like the earthtone palette. To me, they feel like colours without the caffeine. Those chestnuts are so convincing in their hardness and glossiness ! You make this gorgeousness look so easy that it almost seems like it's just coming off a magic brush. All you have to do, is touch it to paper. Thank you so much for this visual feast ! 💖
“Colors without coffee” such a good way of describing the fall pallets 👌 I love it! Although there was a lot of coffee involved 😊 thank you so much for always support me and my channel 🧡 I always look forward to seeing your green avatar icon in the comments 🐿️🌰🍁
I've been so excited about this painting Anna, and it's even more lovely than in your trailer! I think I’ll splurge and buy the D.Smith granulating green at last too. For your composition, I felt the milkcap mushroom worked beautifully in that central position because it didn't overpower and also pulled my eye up toward the chipmunk. I hope that helps. Thank you so much!
Thanks for this beautiful work. You give us enough to be able to follow along here and make something nice. I appreciate that you don’t force me over to patreon because I don’t know what that is. I’m not going anywhere else that requires a membership and a subscription or a cost that I can’t afford. Thanks for considering folks like me when you’re creating your RUclips videos.
I am so excited for this one on Patreon, Anna! Please do not take out the acorns! I love acorns! In fact, maybe you could also include a couple of them when you do the next tutorial of the chestnuts. That would be amazing! 😊. I love that you did a chipmunk this time. I hope you will consider doing an owl in a tutorial over the fall or Christmas season 🙏🏻🙏🏻. Thank you for all your teaching!
Patty-I always enjoy watching you paint. You seem very methodical, which I like. It helps me learn. I think the picture is perfect as it is. It reminds me of Squirrel Nutkin by Beatrix Potter. Can't wait for the next installment.
I’m so glad you added the greenery to the back of it. I really think it helps and me telling you what I think you should do cracks me up because I can’t even paint a stick man but I am curious when you make the video does the light wash out a little bit of the color that’s the only thing I would change is maybe a little bit darker vibrant color it’s absolutely gorgeous no matter what you do to it it’s beautiful
Hi Anna, I just watched your little chipmunk tutorial. It is adorable! I love woodland animals & fall mushrooms, acorns etc. It's perfect the way it is. I hope we can buy a copy. You are at another level in your artwork. True quality! I love watching your journey & you inspire me & many others. So, thank you for sharing your gift! ❤
I found Your video actuallly only yesterday and had already fallen in love with Your technique and beautiful paintings. Watched quite a bit of them for so long.☺ They look so realistic and deep.♥ Really makes me wanting to start draw and paint again, with what I've been struggling last few months. Looking forward to try Your way of painting and layering, looks so much interesting and fun. Thank you!♪
Anna, your work is breathtaking. Looking forward to your Patreon tutorial, I'm so glad I watched this video. Last week I finally purchased QoR Quin Red, but when it arrived it looked more brownish then red. Thought maybe I was just overworked and tired. Disappointed, I put it away and didn't give it another thought until I watched you paint the gorgeous vibrant red mushroom with QoR "Quin Red". Turns out my paint tub has 2 labels. After removing the top label I discovered the tube is actually Quin Burnt Orange. Returning for a replacement. Meant to be. Again, thank you Anna. ❤
Hello How calmly and delicately you paint When I was young, I worked with oil paints When you work with oil paint, because it dries slowly, there is a lot of time to correct the work But the watercolor is wonderful, in any case, the design of the work is very important Your work is unique good luck🥰😍🤩
My teachers always told us not to use black paint! That's one reason I subscribed to you! I see too many artists on RUclips who use black paint! It can also make it look muddy!
Hi Anna I'm one of your Pareon patrons and I posted on the FB site that I LOVE , LOVE this little Woodland Creature painting and if you would be adding to Patreon soon. For whatever it's worth, people are "liking " my post, so I take that to mean they feel the same! 😉😊 Just wanted to share. LOVE THIS!❤
Thanks so much Ivonne 😊 I've been working all week on the Patreon version {it will be in square format with some modifications} and now moving on to editing chapter #1 voiceover. This is one of the larger compositions so I am also doing a beginner friendly mushroom on the side 🧡
I don't think this is too busy, but I can imagine some people might feel that way. When it comes to business, some people prefer lots of details, and some prefer lots of open space. I think this is a busy composition, but not too busy. It isn't overwhelming, and it isn't one of those paintings where I don't know where to look. Instead it's almost like a treasure hunt of details, and I really like that. If you do decide to remove anything from the composition - I'm no expert, so don't take my advice unless you agree - but I would remove the dried leaf on the left, to let the berries and mushroom breathe. I'd also remove the background in the lower right corner - not the fern, but the green and brown beneath it, which might be a piece of chestnut shell? I'd also consider removing the branches behind the chipmunk, or, if it becomes too naked without them, I'd have found something else to put there, because the needles on the branches makes the long hairs on the whiskers and eyebrows of the chipmunk look like they're part of the background, and it's such a nice detail that I think it deserves to shine. Then I'd also try to remove the pair of small, red mushrooms or the dry leaf underneath the acorns, simply because the forest floor might be too busy after removing all the things above. But as I mentioned, I think the composition looks amazing, and doesn't need editing :)
The acorns are delightful, but the caps seem a little too grey/blue to me. The ones we have here are various shades of brown, mostly darker than the nut part. Perhaps add some more or different color to the leaf by them, so it contrasts more with the mushroom behind it? I love the ferns, and hope you keep them in the tutorial. Bright leaves, acorns, nuts, and gourds are all autumn favorites of mine. :)
Hi, I'm interested in your Patreon, you spoke about releasing tutorials for this painting - please can I ask if you'll be doing that on your Patreon, and if so on which level? This painting is beautiful and very inspirational! Many thanks Jo

What an exquisite squirrel and his friends
It's seems childhood story time. So soft and vibrant ❤❤❤
Thank you once again for showing so this is good for people with steady hands not for those with parkinsons but I love it all the same
