These are beautiful, I especially love the way the little round one turned out. I also have etch sketchbooks, but the ones with the white covers. I haven't tried masking fluid on it yet, but this would be a fun way to try it out.
Thank you so much, Jessica. That little round one is my favourite too ;-) For the masking fluid, this was the first time I'd tried it in this sketchbook, so I did a test on the last page of the book first to check it would work. I highly recommend that!

I paint about the same size usually and love Escoda Perla brushes too! I was wondering what size of the brushes did you use here? It's a bit difficult to know how big they are just looking at them online. Thank you!

How can I make masking fluid ?
I've no idea. Probably just easier to buy something from a reputable watercolour manufacturer.
They’re actually toadstools. Eat those and you’re very dead! Great painting, but I won’t come to your place for tea!🤣
😂😂😂 is that the difference between a mushroom and a toadstool? The edible-ness? I'm still too scared to eat foraged mushrooms anyway 🥴
