I paint the world around me. Usually I paint outside and then I take those ideas into the studio to create finished works. These finished paintings can be fairly representational of the scenes I was inspired by, or can take on a far more abstract form.
I've been lucky enough to paint all over the world, capturing memories and notes through hundreds of sketches over the years.
Through guiding painting holidays, teaching watercolour workshops and online lessons, I've have the joy of teaching others to paint, giving them the tools to put their stories on paper too.

It's my pleasure. I'm sorry I don't know the name of the palette I use. It was a gift almost 20 years ago. It's a hard plastic palette and I've seen similar ones for sale from Jacksons Art in the UK.
