@madchyers is there any chance you could email me your tune? I am waiting for Panic wire to finish my harness and Link ECU setup for my 1J IS at the moment.
The stock computer cannot be tuned. So you have to replace the ecu with a standalone ecu to truly be able to tune. Some people opt for older kits that run in tandem with the stock ecu as a piggyback, but I chose to go with a different ecu that completely replaces the stock ecu. I'm running xcessive Manufacturing's IS300 Link Ecu kit in both my IS300s.
I am not a tuner, but yes I would highly recommend this platform. No other standalone out can replace the factory IS ecu and still control all of the CANBUS functions. And it's cheaper than an aem v2 which is stone age technology compared this this ecu.
@@juniorolvera7358 my other IS was used as the R&D car lol. I live about 10 mins from the shop that builds and sells the kits, they dyno tuned this car, and their wiring specialist who put together the patch harness and also helped with tuning (hes actually sitting in the passenger seat filming in this video)
@@scubagto420 I never heard of them until getting in contact with xcessive manufacturing, they're local to me and have been spending a lot of time digging into the IS300 chassis. I've been modding this car since 09, I've been thru one turbo kit already and 2 motors. This is the best, hands down, I've ever heard of or looked into. I have 0 complaints. Been daily driving for a couple months without any issues. I'm getting another for my current 1J/IS300 swap.
boy oh boy, she sounds beautiful 😍
dam that sounds so good

Cat sounds AMAZING! I was just curious, why is your Trac light blinking?
Because traction control is disabled
@@madchyers5416 Awesome, I feel dumb now haha
Thanks man
Andrew Bassett isn’t it not supposed to blink? I’m pretty sure it’s because he’s catless
@@supershadow230 truthfully I'm not sure, my trac light started blinking when my tire debeaded itself
Andrew Bassett but you’re boosted... automatically should trigger check engine for o2 sensors
Can you give me all the details for this build? it looks amazing.

What software can you use to tune the is300? I’ve been looking but I haven’t really found anything

madchyers aaaaaww thanks, ive been looking at that ecu and it seems to be the best option in my opinion
what turbo manifold are you running?
CX racing circa 2009. Their manifolds today look a lot nicer..but this OG one is still holding up. Hasnt cracked on me yet.
R you running gte rods or stock ge rods?
Gte rods and pistons, ge block, ge headgasket
Do you recommend the ecu? How’s the tuning ?

Did you find any problems finding a tuner? Or are you those lucky guys that has a friend haha

Wait so you don’t need stock ecu at all ?
Nope, this is all powered off Xcessive Manufacturing's IS300 Link ecu
I am honestly thinking about rocking this setup never herd of anyone using link is it a decent ecu ? Any flaws that I should know or anything

What is the setup?
This is running Xcessive Manufacturing's IS300 Link ECU standalone ecu, masterpower .70A/R .68A/R t4 turbo, 550cc injectors, 300lph pump, diy fuel return, GTE internal bottom end, GE headgasket in a nutshell
