I've just spent an hour and a half listening to covers of Both Sides Now, and I'm giving this one the laurels.
I love how casual she is at the piano and singing here, and how humble. And the song is about starting young and growing old, and so so so soooooo many others cover the song where they're "already old" at the very start. Vienna is so disarming, it strikes me playful, which really helps the childish visions of ice cream castles. A song like this demands corners, it demands change. Thanks, Vienna, wherever you are. You saved my day.

I love how honest she is about not quite knowing the words, but it's such a beautiful cover that it doesn't matter at all; if anything it just fits with how genuine the song is. (She does a really, really good job of substituting close words when she doesn't remember, too, instead of getting flustered.)
When you hit that first vocal, my heart sank to a sense of calmness and sadness reminiscing the tender moments I shared with my wife, who now is in a battle to heal her soul.

Actually, Judy Collins version. Check it out for yourself. Vienna has a pretty, girlish voice. Joni is incomparable.
