This is understandable because Tesla is NOT paying money to these fake news and liar whores and their pimps in oil and ICE do not want you to become FREE. We own electric since 2008 and reduced TCO dramatically even with some minor issues we also had on mostly German premium for 54 years - they had 100 years of time to make a good product so what Tesla did in the beginning was already BEST what US could build or name one car that is only near to compare besides Hyundai groups Ioniq 5, 5N, 6, Kia EV6 AWD, GT or Genesis GV60 - oh, sorry not American but high finition level therefore and not only fake plastics show, while Porsche Taycan and Audi e-Tron GT the Germans costing at least three times as much and also advanced 800 Volts systems have already battery problems due to improper manufacturing processes. But the Tesla as well as my Kia EV6 now drives 2 years, 6 years and 16 years and the Kia now goes to the service for the very first time. ALL previous ICE and especially hybrid cars costed me time and my money not that of distributor and car company! Now we charge with preference home- and destination in 10 SECONDS to have a climatized car in the morning. No support of new HPC slave system e.g. badly working Electrify America belonging - guess - to the Diesel cheater Volkswagen. But now even worse the Big 5 in German automotive have founded cartels, criminal organizations to block any better technology together with Tier 1 partners so controlling developments. Now they plan however a new SCAM to cheat idiot politicians with Hydrogen and e-Fuels claiming to be produced with ‚excess‘ green energy which is a lie because we do not have in abundance and should use wisely not only for cars that make just 1/3 of problem. But using 10 times LESS energy for better performance is what the cheaters promised for 40 years. Now my Teslas and my EV6 drive around with a 2-LITRES average and not with a crappy small noisy Diesel box with absolutely no comfort - but you cannot play against physics and burning fuel is most stupid transformation!

I've been complaining about the lack of smart lights for 15 years. We could remove emissions from a million cars per day. Detect, and assign priority values. Commute vehicles get a 1, B class vehicles like a school bus get a 2, C class like 18-wheelers get a 3, and emergency responders get immediate priority. If you pull up to a red with your 1 point vehicle, then you would have to wait at least thirty seconds to stop 30 one point vehicles for 1 second. If you had an 18-wheeler, then the wait time would be 10 seconds, and vise-versa. Implement obvious restrictions, and limitations to avoid excessive wait times, and boom your good to go.

Just as the Model X would make a Nice "Stretch Limousine", it's not yet a Priority, but it could be an interesting Variant!
Tesla's primary goal, of "1 Category Killer" in each Category of vehicles, simply continues to march forward, from Category to Category! A "Limousine" is probably 10 years off, at least, in that Goal/Plan!

    • @garyrooksby
      @garyrooksby Месяц назад

Model Y can already be used as a robotaxi but for a car built *specifically to be a robotaxi* it's not ideal as it has a steering wheel, pedal, it isn't steer-by-wire, only has one internal cabin camera (surely the dedicated robotaxi will have several to monitor the passengers for misbehaviour so their credit cards can be charged for damage). The "platform" is actually the unboxed production method, which can bolt together common car segments onto different sized chassis to make small, medium and large robotaxis. I'm confident that ALL future Tesla models will use this method to drastically reduce production costs. Even a high-end luxury limo will use the same method. I suspect the next Roadster will use elements of this method, too, despite it being the most advanced vehicle we've ever seen.

He’s just trying to make money to fund his projects a SpaceX and go to Mars. The model two will be on the same chassis as the taxi and they may build the same time, but they’re gonna focus on the taxi because the Robo taxi is where the money is gonna be made by everybody and he thinks he’s betting on that time the Robo taxi takes off nobody’s gonna wanna car except for like a classic car, you know you get it you gonna have that classic car that you drive around once in a while that’s gonna be a mixture between a model S and rev 1967 fastback Mustang

Tesla disrupts the whole car industry beginning to end from the top of the Ford building to the bottom of Jill blow car salesman check here’s how it works first all like we talked about he doesn’t care about the cars so if you bring in BYD manufacturing And give them all green cards. One of those plants that in the Midwest is not doing anything they could be building model twos and Rob taxis and they would be fine and that would that would blow the market away because everyone would come over here for probably minimum wage And just have their food and their housing provided for him dis upped the car dealers cause there’s gonna be no more car dealers. They’re all gonna be gone cars that I think you’re gonna see out on the road besides the taxis is a 1967 Ford Mustang fastback, roadster body on it under body on it

    • @keithscherer7865

And here’s why it’s gonna disrupt the used car salesman because that model Y that is old that you have right now you gonna give it up to be a Robo taxi and you’re gonna go buy you a brand new one and then that Robo tax is gonna make you $100,000 a yearso now you can buy a whole lot more stock so we can go from the moon you know what I mean

    • @keithscherer7865

You know Lars think about it what if the Robo taxis were part of your medical bill for instance, your insurance would cover Robo taxi OK so your home would tell you that tomorrow at noon you have a appointment at the doctors so it would schedule a Robo taxi to show up at amount of time that you need to get there to your doctors appointment it would drop you off in the front so he can go and it would be back when you called it on your phone after your appointment and then all that’s gonna be billed to the doctor is gonna bill you and Bill your insurance and the reason everybody’s gonna like that is because it’s faster it’s quicker and the insurance knows that you’re being safer in a Robo taxi then driving yourself because you’re 65 year old man

I do believe that the news about Tesla scrapping the $25k car was true thou, but no because of Chinese competition but because of other two main reasons, first, it would be better for Tesla to make as many as possible of those cars for its robo taxi fleet, why would they want to sell those cars? Second, the price of the model Y will continue getting cheaper and cheaper that pretty soon it will be very close to $25k. Why would Tesla invest billions to manufacture a new model that would only be cheaper than a model Y by $2k or so, especially when most of those cars will just go to their fleet making them billions. I have been using FSD version 12 and it is pretty close to ready. I predict they will probably start testing the robo taxi in certain areas very soon.

-getting paid? When’s the last time you handed cash or swiped a card in an Uber? It’s through the App
-internal cameras could easily monitor cleanliness and return to the service center for cleaning. The slob that left their trash could be charged a fee through the app and if they are a repeat offender they could be barred from using the system.

The pack will be similar to the high end controllers available for playing driving games.
If the vehicle has two gloveboxes then it could be remove the door and slot in the steering wheel, the pedals could slot in on either side.

That 90% safer than humans, or 99%, or whatever, is a relative risk argument, which is the same nonsense that was used to justify a certain jab. Only 1 in 8000 Americans die in a crash every year, so 99% of almost nothing is just a smaller almost nothing. I think it should be a cost argument. If it's the same cost or less than driving yourself, then it makes sense. If I have to spend an additional amount annually, possibly thousands more, I could invest that money every year of my adult life and be a multi millionaire. Safety doesn't exist in a vacuum. It is a tradeoff that has to be weighed against other variables.

Besides, Tesla will also compete with European and Japanese brands as well. The Chinese are not that ignorant, they will compete at the low end and high end. Now, Tesla still has the lead in the high end. All EV manufacturers will offer compatible offers in terms of quality and features in the next few years. The technological gap will be negligible. The EV market is waiting for the masses. Wealthy buyers can get any car anytime.

What you are saying is that Model 2 and is not cancelled, it just won't be taken up for manufacture for many years more.
Trouble is, it should already have been pouring out of Mexico so the share price will have to postpone its boom cycle for your many years.
Perhaps the confusing background music is meant to hide the confusion 😂

In all fairness Arkinvest's 5 year horizon has been consistently wrong with regard to Tesla. In 2020 their pre 3:1 split bear case was $1500. By that metric Tesla share price should be $500 this year. The elephant in the room, all that changed with Musk's purchase of Twitter.

Kia isn't apparently able to sell "The Same Style" vehicle, as long as Tesla seems to be able to do so! So, the have to "Change up their Recipe" because the same people coming to them, year after year, will get "Bored" if they don't! 🙄😂

What you see as "A New Model A Year" fails to take into account how many different Design Teams Kia Has, working in Parallel, on different model changes, simultaneously.
And, Kia still has a longer standing Business than Tesla does, by more than double the age! That alone, could count for part of that difference.

@@robertweekley5926 So older is better? The EV9 is first real 3 row SUV. The Tesla model x version with the rear child seat is a joke. They really need to up their game or is the plane to become a self driving software company? That would be a huge disappointment to everyone and might start their demise.

"One key thing to remember is from the day the design director first puts his idea on paper to the day Job 1 or first customer car is produced it will take 5 - 10 years. Honestly speaking, I’ve never worked on any project that has run on the projected time plan. Honestly never. Doesn't matter how many cars, if it’s 100 McLarens or 30,000 Land Rovers. No project I’ve worked on ever ran as per the plan. It was always delayed."

    TESLA, MUSK’S MISSES
Full self driving Teslas are coming in 2017…2018…2019…2020….First reported on no driver required in 2015… 2024? Missed it by 9+years
Tesla semi-truck by 2019…actual 2022 but it’s still not in full production as of 4/2024 missed it by 5+years
Tesla semi to tow 14,000 lbs…nope 11,000, missed it by 3,000 lbs
Tesla semi to cost $64,000…currently near $100,000, missed it by $36,000
One million robotaxis by 2020…maybe 1-5000 by end of 2024, missed it by 995,000+ units
And now that $25,900 2025 Tesla might be built years out from 2024 in that 2025 Mexico gigafactory whose ground breaking hasn’t taken place yet.
Musk does eventually get done with what he promised, it’s just years behind and not the functionality he promised
