    This Trucking Game may not be a view from inside the cab, but it's the most realistic physics that a truck makes where you get to understand how to truck operates in reverse. American Truck Simulator (ATS)and European Trucking Simulator 2 (ETS2) are the best trucking games that you get, and I recommend that you play them, but my game is created for people to just get used to reversing a trailer.
    I have heard from so many users that truck schools across the country use my game and use my videos to show their students how to back up.

    I am a new truck driver , just got my license at age 50. I did a total career change from floral designer for huge event companies to truck driver . I find really hard with trainers at the school and companies is that everyone teaches you so many way to drive . It’s all confusing at times . I find worth your videos I can reprogram my brain, absorb more information in a clear way. I just kind of lost the intimidation part of driving a 53 footer , so now I can concentrate more on parking . Thank you for the videos .

    The aerial view is the most helpful here. Being able to see the wheel position, truck position. Even though I have a pickup and 18' trailer this is still an excellent tool. All other videos on backing up any trailer is from the point-of-view of driver's seat or someone outside the truck. "turn the wheel" means zero if you cant see which way. Much appreciation! Thanks.

    @halyoung388 4 года назад +4

    YES! I like the new format with the steering and wheel movements combined with how their movements are affecting the tractor and trailer. Excellent. I've been in trucking school for a month or so and one thing I think many new students struggle with is the fact that any direction change one wants to make must first start with straightening the rig by chasing the trailer. It's one of the finer points or details that hasn't been emphasized by my schools' instructors enough and this birds eye view with the new format really helps. Good work.

    I get confused because I’ve heard jack knife is bad to back up alley dock but then it’s either 45 degrees alley docks or 90 which is jack knife right? so for most people watching it’s rookie drivers like my self so please remember more step by steps can be lots of help 👍

    • @brianmcelroy4270
      @brianmcelroy4270 4 года назад +3

      Any time the trailer isn't straight behind the tractor, it's called a jack knife. It's not bad unless you go too far and hit your trailer, or if you lose traction and jack knife while driving down the highway.

    Feeback. While you know your stuff and the simulator is great, what's needed is "basics" and I mean basic. What angle do the wheels turn to? No one mentions its 4 turns hard left to hard right. No one mentions say , from wheels straight go to about one full turn right to make the front of the trailer go right.
    There is an absence on the key elements of the truck test.
    Offset parking test can be very limited in front and some are impossible to do on One Movement.
    I watched instructor after instructor fail to show the basics. They also "know their stuff" but have delusions students will also find it simple , they get tired, cranky and start yelling at students.
    Using the simulator, lets find out, What is the Absolute minimum distance you can do an offset.
    Start in the right lane, and driving forward, what is that minimum distance and steering wheel moves that get it done.
    Now, how do you do that in reverse, if you just drove out, whats stopping us doing that in reverse order?
    How can we break that down into numbered steps.
    If we can't do it in one pull or 3 pulls, just what "checklist" can we use to make sure we don't make it worse or get it done in the shortest amount of moves and more importantly, loose the least amount of points.
    When the test is that difficult , some examiners will not deduct the points that in theory they should. Sometimes they don't worry about the clock or pull ups.
    But, I'd like to see you do a video on how to do the offset in the absolute minimum distance.
    Just how many paces is that Cone from the front of the trailer that limits forward movement.
    My last test was 53 paces. Not much.

    I tried straight backing today very first time.. so instructor told me to while balancing when I turn steering wheel towards the side I see then I should stop straighten wheel and continue.. it messed me up.. I couldn't do it.. but then I found I can do it if I don't stop just keep driving very and I mean very slow .. basically while backing it I drive very slow without stopping I can balance the trailer if I stop after every turn of the wheel it gets very hard.

      You should check out my earlier videos then. Head to my channel, click on videos, search back a couple of years and you will not find any better video of a POV

    I just purchased your game because I spent $3000 on a truck driving school and I'm day 3 into it and I'm having an incredibly difficult time backing up straight (doesn't help that their truck's steering wheel has tons of play and is not truly center).
    Ever tried to make controls for a video game steering wheel controller work for it?

      No steering wheel attachment. That's too much work for me to figure out.

    Any advice for over correctors? I bombed my drive test twice. I lost so many points in the straight back that I pointed out on the offset.
    Normally I'm fine but the terrain was a bit rougher than i expected. The trailer wasn't moving fast enough to not veer right.
    It's like I just choked I had no problem with the moves in school. Now I'm feeling like an anxietal mess. How do I F up straight backing? I test again tomorrow so wish me luck.

      Was it a 28 for trailer? The smaller the trailer the harder it is to control.

    Is the game out already I have 2 days till I test to park a 40ft and 20ft container 10 times each for a job opportunity. I’m not very confident I can park them 10 times without messing up Ive found a new respect for truck drivers it is not easy.

      Yes it is. You still want to buy all levels and go to CDL ones and choose the trailer size.

    You should of had stationary reference point (like squares) to properly see how the truck moves while backing. Otherwise there is no spatial reference points to demonstrate what you're saying.

      Not the whole map is full of squares as reference points!! It's literally on a grid.
