For women to marry at that age used to be the norm in Europe before feminism came along telling women to both marry and try to conceive children at borderline grandma age! In other words, when they are past their reproductive years. (Which for women is between 15 and 25, at 25 a woman is reproductively middle-aged already and her youth is over) today in the west women want to have children between 30-35, even 40! Pure madness. As for men they tended to get married between 25-30. *Added* Shackles? Perhaps. Then again, I'd argue she's way better off being married than on the mandatory feminist promoted CC carousel from age 15-25 (no wait, women in the west keep on going way past their youth) sampling random di*ks, a few abortions, drug use, party party followed by some Xanax etc leaving them as burnt-out wrecks at 25.....yet with another 60 years to bridge. Kind of a high prize to pay for 10-15 years of "fun".
I’m not shocked they changed the honeymoon. I would not trust two kids alone in Mexico. Maybe with chaperones at the same resort or something like that but it’s too far away and travelers are too naive about other cultures.

I saw on a documentary that the richest town in Ireland is a Irish traveler town. In America, there is at least one state where the richest city is a gypsy community. Many gypsies are businesspeople and make outstanding incomes.
In one episode a young gypsy Mum is talking about her ultrasound and said her husband was worried about getting a baby girl because they are “too expensive” and you need to “put away 30,000 pounds in the bank” for a baby girl. So that should give you some idea. Part of that money is probably also for a dowery, which I hear that some gypsies still practice. Whatever it’s for, we know it’s not a college fund.
@@evelyneweissenborn8231 I just saw a documentary of sorts about a Romanian gypsy wedding and the grooms family paid for everything and a dowry also to the brides parents. A little into the marriage the mother of the groom claimed she realized that the bride wasn't good enough for her son after it had been arranged so they gave the girl back to her family and the girls family had to pay back all that was spent on the wedding (the grooms family paid for literally everything including the wedding gown etc) and the dowry. If he isn't willing to let her live her life, he shouldn't have allowed her to get married. (Just to be clear, I don't think a couple of 17 year olds should be traveling that far alone. @@htmlove I have also heard people refer to people in their early to mid 20s as children. A century or two ago young couples in their mid teens were allowed to marry. Years ago these teens were fully capable of taking care of each other and the resulting children from that union. What is the definition of a child? Based on the culture and the time that they were born into at one point a 17 year old was considered an adult now you can be 25 and still called a child and have no skills for taking care of themselves much less a baby.
*Added*
Shackles?
So 17 isn’t old enough to travel abroad for a week, but it’s just the right age for marriage? Got those priorities all switched up.
She's too young to go vacation abroad but not too young to get married?! 🤦🏼♀️
Travellers are cautious when it comes to the outside world
My daughter is about to turn 17 in 8 days and I couldn’t imagine planning a wedding for her.
She could have had a fabulous modeling career.
Ikr missed opportunities
I’m not shocked they changed the honeymoon. I would not trust two kids alone in Mexico. Maybe with chaperones at the same resort or something like that but it’s too far away and travelers are too naive about other cultures.
EXACTLY!! Although married, she is still a child and appears to lack maturity and worldliness. I wouldn’t let my 17 year old go to Mexico either.
@@louisianabred616 no problem with your very innocent child being married at 17 though? These gypsy girls have no idea what sex is. They go to their wedding beds having never been in their husband's company alone and having barely even touched each other. It's like a 19th Century nightmare.
I wouldn’t trust 50 year old newlyweds in Mexico.
Neither would I!
Absolutely! I feel like for their age they should have gone to Disney World instead. Still nice weather but a bit more safe for naive tourists.
When mom says "everyone" she means her husband!!!
Her dress is gorgeous and her waistline is to die for 😂
Yup! I thought that, too!
Not to mention her bodacious ta ta’s and perfect skin.

Ohh I can't stand that smacking that gum...so annoying
The outfits on the little ones! They look like they are going out to a club!
They look like someone is trying to get them ready for clubbing long before they were ever meant to be!

@@carly1797 yeah and you’re also poorly educated so honestly anyone’s opinion is more valid than yours
The point of the honeymoon is to be a newlywed couple and be alone together.
I get shes 17 but if thats acceptable to become a married woman and start having kids then going on a vacation with your husband should be fine
The dad was right. Young girls go missing in cancoon all the time, it's all over the news and unfortunately a lot of them don't return home. I'm glad the couple listened to his concerns.
Why are there so few family and friends at these weddings?? Such a big to-do for so few people.
Because unfortunately very few people care about the service but do care about the party
The dad is one of the first handsome Gypsy man I've seen!
The gum chewing is driving me crazy
is this filmed recently? i lowkey kinda love how their fashion is stuck in the 2010’s
OMG SAME🙌🏾🙌🏾💯💯 it’s like they are frozen in time.. but it’s kinda fire tho🔥🔥
It was filmed in the 2010s late 2000s
Me too !!! I’m going back, who’s with me ?? 🥰😊👉🏼
@Louisiana Bred same !! Let’s go !!! Lol
Traveller style would still be the same today as the 2000s
Thanks for uploading but I wish the reception had been included: it was great 👍
She’s such a natural beauty!
Finally a beautiful elegant dress fit for a beautiful girl 😊
The parents are so sweet ..I wish them all the best 🌹❤
God, if I could have even been half as pretty as her when I was 17.
Don’t say that! These girls all wear too much makeup for their age (and it’s not applied properly), wear clothes that are far too revealing, and all seem to have fake chests. You were and are now a beautiful woman just the way you are! 💖
All you have to do is let your hair hang in an unkempt manner, wear piles of makeup, an you can look just like her if you're still young enough. It's impossible to tell what she really looks like with all that war paint she piled on!
The comments above do not understand that despite bad make up and hairstyle, the girl still looks beautiful. It's about her facial features and beautiful bone structure.
@@jb6712 “unkempt manner” LMAOOOOO here in America we’d call you bland. Her hair (or extensions) are def too long but not everyone needs a Karen haircut either. I love long flowing hair.

@6:05 , "are you looking forward to it?" ...Nope. 😂
Old enough to get married but not go on vacation? I try, but sometimes I just don't understand other cultures.
I’m so glad to see others in the comments agreeing with me…It seems the entire lot is not mentally equipped for any of this. And the little girls dressed like grown women really disgusts me. The world already has an issue with pedophilia & trafficking….why promote your children into that sooner? Stop dressing them up like that! And Maybe stop forcing them to jump into lives they’re not prepared for? You married her off but she can’t go on her own honeymoon? 😲
it's only the romachos that dress like that. the rest of us cover up.
I agree with you and wish there was more people like us who think it’s not okay.
I will never be okay with pedophilia and trans kids are also being exposed to that .
It's already been illegal I'm the UK to marry before 18 now, even with parents permission. This was filmed over 10 years ago
Funny thing is, all those little girls then are now at the ages where they, too, are getting married in their culture---this show was from about 2010----and they're dressing the next generation just as trashily as they themselves wore.
@@Angela-sf3nl trans kids are created by p3d0s

The little boys are already abusive towards the girls.
That's crazy !! I'm 31 and just got married. I can't imagine getting married at that age
My ex mother in law married at 17 and 1 month , it’ll be 57 years married this year . I married just turned 20 I was too young . Husband , mortgage and babies and 3rd time pregnant by 24 . We divorced when I was 31

It was called "makeup," PILES of it! And this was done about ten years ago, so she may not look like that now.
All of them have makeup. Are you blind? Can't see her features?
Wow her gown is exceptional. She's very pretty
I’ve watched so many of these and her wedding dress is definitely the prettiest! Fits beautifully! 😍😍
I would love to know the average cost of a gypsy wedding it seems as though they definitely have a lot that goes into them and who pays for the wedding
I want to know these things too 🙋♀️
I saw on a documentary that the richest town in Ireland is a Irish traveler town.
This particular wedding equated to something like several 100 thousand US dollars. It was extravagant.
@@HippyMiMi I saw this as well it was like a well known gypsies witch family I thought it was absolutely crazy how much time and money was spent all for naught lol and then the narrarator at the end saying they didn't like each other thats what happened lol I laughed my ass off because I thought the exact same thing all the time money and effort just to find out you hate the way he chews his food or maybe he snores lol I cam only imagine it was something trivial but what else could be expected from teenagers 🤣🤣😅
I totally understand why her parents postponed the honeymoon with the couple being so young and the level of maturity isn’t really there
But it's fine to sell her off to be a baby factory and house slave.
It's still weird, why can they marry then?
Because marrying at home in their home country, surrounded by family is very different to allowing them to jet off to a place like Cancun alone - young, immature, green - anything could happen.
@@mrsl8596 I don't think you realize that you just made a case for them to NOT get married.... Young, green, and immature! Those were your words. God, you sound ridiculous
@@sharonharris9782 - I totally understand that it seems really odd (re she can marry, but not travel), but there’s been more than a few tourists murdered at Mexican resorts; I’m guessing that’s what worries the father. I wonder if he still would have worried the same if they’d chosen Spain or Portugal instead of Mexico? 🇨🇦
So she can get married, but her going on a honeymoon is too far? You know that in your culture, getting married means going away. So why are you so concerned about her going away, but are completely comfortable with her getting married? They can’t make their culture make sense at all……..
I think because it's in Mexico and they're still basically kids. Usually on this series they DO go on their honeymoon or wait until they save enough. I wouldn't let my 16 and 17 year olds go to Mexico alone
@@armygirl85fuckhitler74 I find that understandable, but it’s the fact that they would probably be okay with her husband taking her to somewhere else in Europe. It’s the distance, not the age that they’re worried about.
@@armygirl85fuckhitler74 would you let your 16 year old get married??!!! You sound ridiculous
She looked lovely and her gown wasn't as over the top as some Traveler brides.
Shame on this Tradition of Forcing the own children into marriage, this is cruelty
That absolutely did the right thing postponing the honeymoon,it's better that go when more family can go with them
Omg! The gum chopping about killed me. Why?!?! 🤣🤣🤣
It's so weird that the wedding dresses always have SO much fabric - not just the bride's. Every other time you see the girls they're wearing clothes with very LITTLE fabric.
So she's old enough to get married but not to travel abroad? The logic is not there I fear
She’s never even spent a night away from home and you think it’s ok for two 17 yos to travel to such a country as Mexico?!?
@@MiffetBlue I get what you are saying, but how is it ok for the father to meddle in the lives of his married daughter. Most weddings have a line that says, "Who gives this bride away?......and the father's reply is, "Her mother and I." She, as a married woman is no longer under the authority of her father. If he isn't willing to let her live her life, he shouldn't have allowed her to get married.
(Just to be clear, I don't think a couple of 17 year olds should be traveling that far alone. It also seems emasculating to the new husband for the dad to say, Nah, I don't think you are capable of making decisions for and taking care of my daughter. I'll decide what you two will be allowed to do.)
@@MiffetBlue Absolutely not. I also think its nuts for her to get married that young.
@@KS-zc4jn she's not a married "woman" 😭 she's a 17 year old child! they shouldn't be going to Mexico alone OR be getting married
Define child. Her parents felt that she was mature enough to marry. If the dad was not willing to let his son in law be man of his own home, he should have had them postpone the wedding until he was ready to relinquish say over what his daughter does.
So much makeup even on the little girls!

Old enough to make a lifelong decision but not old enough for a vacation. Makes sense...
the dress she chose for herself and her sister are the nicest gypsy dresses i’ve seen, not too much but nice
Currently obsessed with these Travellers wedding from the morals they have to uphold never ever being able to be in the company of other boys outside of immediate family then boom attend your cousins wedding and quite literally get snatched up by a stranger at 15 months later your getting married turning sixteen and have all of your very first experiences with boys all at the same time it all mind blowing to me these girls aren't even allowed to say the word penus like cannot discuss love sex or marriage any of it at all until they are literally married and are somehow meant to have some fairytale lifelong bond with someone they haven't so much as went to a movie with its mind boggling to me and I mean this in the most non judgemental way because obviously it works for them as they have been doing it all exactly the same for hundreds of years it's just all such a foreign concept tho 🤷🏾♀️
The little brother got me so damn tickled 😭🤣🤣
I love the pale lilac and blue combination dresses. So pretty.
Good grief, so many of these girls are drop dead gorgeous!
Too young to be on their honeymoon but old enough to get married. That makes no sense at all.
You should upload the episode "My Gypsy Fortune". Her sister is featured in it, and it's speculated that £30k was spent on her wedding day
Of course she can get MARRIED at 17. But going on a vacation?!! Noo she's way too young for all of that grown up stuff
You know they aren't going to spend a whole lot of time sightseeing anyways!

Getting married at 17? I cannot even fathom.
If you you’re too young to vote or drink, you’re wayyyyy to young to get married. You’re throwing your life away.
I think it’s hysterical that she can get married at 17, but not go on her honeymoon. Even if it is traveling, she’s with her new husband 😂. They should be fine. And if they’re too young for that then maybe they’re too young to be getting married!!! Just a thought haha 😂
Someone needs to teach them not to "smack" her gum!! How rude!
That 17 year old girls for you!
its crazy to me being ready to marry, but not to go on a vacation abroad.
making them cancel there hooneymoon because they are 'too young' but forcing them to get married young. Makes sense.
They aren't forced to marry; it's their culture, it's how they've lived for several hundred years. Look it up online; there's a lot of information regarding the gypsies, travelers, and the Romanichal cultures.
