- The Chicago Bears are prepared to make a massive commitment to building a domed lakefront stadium to replace Soldier Field that would be a top location to host the Super Bowl, the NCAA Final Four and other major events. According to multiple reports, including the Chicago Tribune, the Bears confirmed Monday they are planning to provide more than $2 billion in private funding to build a publicly-owned domed stadium and park space along the lakefront. "The Chicago Bears are proud to contribute over $2 billion to build a stadium and improve open spaces for all families, fans and the general public," Bears President and CEO Kevin Warren said in a statement.

IM SO HAPPY 🧡💙💯 YAY CHICAGO call the stadium 🏟 George H. Halas stadium
Yeah but will this bring us a championship
Definitely NOT
Nope.
They'll never play in another Superbowl ever again.
Of course it will, having a dome is nice, more enticing for players, especially QBs
I remember that's what people said about the Cubs. It took 109 years but it still happened 🤣@@user-jf4nj3ez2k
Bears contribute? CONTRIBUTE!? The Bears need to pay for every last dime, plus the overtime for police traffic control every Sunday. THE BEARS DON'T NEED WELFARE FROM THE CITY OR COUNTY.
Smoke and mirrors and the bears owners who are well just plain cheap. cannot find $2 billion dollars.
Someone will tweak Solders Field maybe throw a dome over it call it a day.
