    Upgraded to Transalp 750 from Versys 650 . 3500 Kms ridden and omg its a gem of a bike. People do tell me why I haven’t bought the 850gs or tiger 900 . For me Transalp is a simple do it all bike and the running cost is half of my versys 650. All the other options are way too complicated machines and the running cost is too high .

      @@SagarSheldekarOfficial Thank you brother . Love your videos .
      Want to add some point :
      1. If anyone wants to buy this bike , consider to pay 1.5 lakh more for tubeless rim setup .
      2. If you want cruise control in this bike then search for Veridian Cruise control. It costs 25k and it works like factory cruise control .
      3. You can always upgrade the suspension . Front and Rear . It’s not the end of the world .

    Got my Transalp from Hyderabad and rode it for 900 kms in a couple of days. Hoot of a bike and an amazing engine. The cost of ownership and value proposition over a period of time beats all other brands hands down. Heat management on the highway is better than it is in city but hey it was never meant to be just ridden in one.
    Cons: Missing tubeless Tyres and a rather soft suspension if you are more into off-roading
    Happy riding 🍻

    I test rode the TA in Mumbai city traffic.. very very manageable.. didn’t feel any bothering heat from the engine.. only the Sun above.. sold my ATAS.. TA getting delivered in a couple of days.. used to own a tiger 800.. test rode the new 900 also.. lovely bike.. but nothing runs cooler than a Honda and I do ride a lot in the city.. Honda it is.. and TA does the job brilliantly

    To be honest, I recently only found out you in an Instagram reel. It was the R3 reel which you posted and it immediately caught my eye and I loved that so much. Then I searched you in RUclips and oh my god- the videos you've posted are so awesome and the cherry on top is the amount of knowledge and skills you have about riding bikes- that makes the videos even better sir. I watched around 20ish videos you've posted in RUclips and I loved every single of them just because of the sheer amount of thrills and at the same the knowledge you know about bikes, I've become a huge fan of yours. Awesome videos sir.

    Very nice footage and very well pointed out the pros & cons of my bike:-). Chapeau! Yet, this thing still is a budget-bike, at least over here in Germany. Missing cruise control as this would have cost near to nothing if Honda would have done it from the beginning. I changed the suspension (front & rear) to Wilbers a re-known German brand and that changes a lot. Also, as some of the commentators already pointed out; eventhough if the coolant temp shows 90 or 100+ C°, the engine doesn´t really radiate that much heat towards your legs. It´s totally fine. I also think that the TA has a phenomenal low fuel consumption for its very capable engine, don´t you think so?

    Excellent review my friend. After 1 month of ownership, I can say that it is a Swiss Army knife. It does everything so excellently. Yes! The 21" front wheel makes a huge difference in terms of smoothness and stability. It just hums at 65mph on the freeway and feels so confident on the roads, Now, I traded in my Ducati Scrambler 800 for my Honda, but it is like going from a BMX bike (which is so much fun) to a 21-speed mountain bike that is so capable everywhere, Yes, the engine is so, so smooth and quite capable - except, as I have found, going from 0-30mph, I think that it lacks torque, Yet, you are correct, it has plenty of power as you climb up the gears. I use mine as an everyday commuter - and you are correct - it is hot! Here in California, you feel it in the thighs and calves. Is this a deal-breaker? No, because the TransAlp does everything that you ask so very well. I just wish the styling was as cool as the T7 or the AfricaTwin, and I am sure that Honda will work on that. Overall, I think this is a bike that I will never sell as it can do everything that I ask - and do it so effortlessly. Thank you again!

      Did you get the black one? Can you tell the difference in horse power is there a way to get the whole 91hp like in Europe?

    • @johnnyd.8672
      @johnnyd.8672 7 месяцев назад

      @@ecirlos4601 It is the black one. I believe that's the only color available in the states. I have heard that the European version does have higher hp as their emission restrictions are more lenient. All I really know about the difference is what I have seen in the reviews. From my riding, it seems to lack low-end torque as take-offs are a bit slow, but at mid-range rpm (4-6k) it seems to thrive. I would say it has slightly less performance than my Ducati 800 Scrambler, but is a much more versatile bike, and is almost equally fun.

    Hello, thank you very much for the great video. I may have a "stupid" question. Since they drove the Himalayan 450 and the Transalp 750, I would be interested: Which one would you take if you were looking for an all-rounder? Highway, curves, off-road. I know that the Honda itself is a different class. Personally, however, it is mainly about driving pleasure and lower maintenance costs and above all about reliability. Additionally, I think the other thing missing out which could have been a standard fitment is a bi-directional quickshifter. If I'm not mistaken, the V-Strom 800 DE comes with it as standard. Speaking of which, when do we get to know about the Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE from you Sarge?

As this is a naked bike wind blast is huge for highway ride at higher speeds. We can take it for quick breakfast ride no problem. Also I got handlebar raisers from ZANA and it works fantastic. In stock form handlebars are little aggressive for my driving style (little bit of leaning forward required, that used to create pain in wrist and ankles). Now I enjoy ride in daily commuting.
