Thanks for watching @Hobbyist. Been watching your channel for a long time. You are one of the guys that inspired me to start doing this. Excited to see you here man, thank you!
Thanks for the input, that really helps, I was intending to use immersion cooling with my KS5. I’ll skip that then. I also have a Alphapex DG1 which I used with immersive mining and it did not work at all. The mining boards are not Beeing recognised. Which is really strange. I talked with their support but they couldn’t solve it. I also have a ks1 and this works fine in immersion. Good luck with the mining.
There is no information anywhere about what chip temperature is considered normal. Where can I find out? If the cooler is in automatic mode, then it maintains a temperature of 89-93. And the coolers spin at 38%, 2800 rpm.
Love the videos even though I Can't afford a dedicated miner yet, so I sold some meme coins and decided to build a gaming computer to play around with. lol
Yep I'm adding a 16 gb GeForce to see what It can do. Anything kind of bigger outweighs the cost of the build. I took my profits just before the crash so this is all play money in the end.
I have a bad experience with KS5 PRO in an immersion mining. Fan simulators that came in with Fog Hashing C2 cooling system didn't work at all. I had to request another set of them after troubleshooting the problem, and I can tell you it is not fun to play with an asic ones its all over the oil (in and out, in and out). So, I got a new set of fan simulators, they work but KS5 pro is only generating 13-14TH! While I am still working with the seller on how to solve this issue I pulled KS5 pro out of oil, took me a while to dry it off, assembled fans back and its working just fine generating ~21TH. No more that oil mining for me.. Oh, yeah, keep in mind that warranty goes out ones your miner dipped in the oil. Good luck and I hope this will help someone.
Great Video, Well Done!

I did the infinity fan on the DG1 with no issues. I’d recommend that.
Why no immersion cooling with spoofers?

Keep it up brother! Argon Mining the next mining influencer!
Woohoo, thank you for the support! Really appreciate it

Nice... can you share the info about the original fans? Or exact model they are?
They don't have much detail on them. Just stock fans from Bitmain
Considering buying two of them here soon. Would you still recommend these as a profitable miner? And how has your experience been with these?
Great vids btw
Thank you

Nice! We all start somewhere. If you have a GPU in that Gaming Computer go check out hashrate.no and see if it’s worthwhile to mine with

Nice work, great timing!
What state are you? Im in Orlando.
California, a lot of solar panels to offset the high electric cost
Good explanation of how to cool the KS5, any experience with immersive mining a ks5 unit?

No experience with immersion for me. The additional electric costs of running a dry cooler and the high upfront costs are real turn offs for me
Hey, do you still think the miner is profitable??? thinking about getting the KS5 pro as well.
Yeah, mine still is. Check minetheasic.com
What level is your blower fan speed. Are you running the fan on max speed. Keep it up.
70%
Where is the fan circuit simulator sold? thanks bro
Lots of places have them. Try the fruition designs website linked in the description
Thinking about starting a business and getting like 17 ks3 for 30k. What do you think? Supposed to make apx 20k profit a month.
Been a dream of mine for a while. Let’s do it!
Hello! Anybody know a overclocking firmware for the Bitmain KS5 pro???
Haven’t seen any overclocks for it yet
niceeee
Hey bro, I want ks5pro hash bored
I don't understand. You just want 1 hashboard for a KS5? You could contact Bitmain and see if they will sell you one.
