  • This 9volt battery box is found in many grills as a two port or four port igniter including Alfresco as part 210-0195 and 210-0194, Solaire grills and Viking Grills part PA020036. To connect your ignition system you will need a nine volt battery, electrodes and an ignition switch. The ignition switch is what you press to start the ignition. Place the ignition switch wires in the spark module. Press the igniter button, if you hear a click it is working properly. Then connect your electrodes. Two for a 2 port and four for a 4 port. To test the electrodes, place them against a metal surface and press the igniter button. If you see a spark, the electrodes are working. If your grill is not sparking you may need to adjust the position of the electrodes. If you just need to change the battery, remove the drip tray of your grill and you will see the battery cap. If you need to replace the entire spark module, you will need to remove the control panel of your grill. Before replacing your ignition, follow these steps to test it out. If you should need the parts, they are available at TheBBQDepot.com
