Love your garage floor, do you have a drain in the middle of your garage? Thanks for the great real world wash with the Rinseless, going to try it this weekend
Hey Keav, just came across your channel and been working my way through some of your videos! Great content. Question, you mentioned I could hit the dirt panel with an APC rinse, like DIY All Clean. I have been starting to look at this method if its really dirty given I don't have a hose, so id follow with a heavy spray of rinseless from my Multi Pro 12+. Whats the pH of All Clean once diluted 1: 15? You mentioned its a hybrid between pH neutral and a product of pH 12? Thanks!
All clean comes in around 10.5 to 11 in PH and is citrus based. Usually in their process they do a full rinse after the pre-soak. I can’t comment on how much rinseless would be needed to properly rinse off the APC and not create any streaking.
@@CarsWithKeav ah okay thanks. I'm sure just some degree of rinsing is sufficient as it would dilute what's on the panel quite quickly, but I'm liberal regardless.
@@CarsWithKeav haha. He is efficient... Something I'm trying to improve on, especially on those weekend mornings when I'm trying to do both my car and family SUV without eating too much into the day. I'm purely a rinseless guy given lack of hose.
great video man, Appreciate all the great content. i still remember your videos for the budget cart series. lately i have been hearing a lot about using beer keg for rinse less wash and foaming of cars. do you think you would a series of converting these beer kegs to foam sprayers?
I have heard a lot about them as well. Maybe one day we will try one out. They are very expensive, but some sell kits where you can take your own tank and convert it. The detail Kegs are legit though. Guys doing window tint and ppf love it. I would think it will be heavier than the IK though.
Hey there! I see that you mentioned a 32:1 dilution ratio for the IK foam pro 12. Was this also recommended by DIY detail? They told me to use the normal 256:1 dilution ratio in the foam pro 12 since it's just a "pre-foam" but i didn't really get the watery foaming action I was looking for and it mostly just beaded onto my ceramic coated car.
That is what they told me when I asked for dilutions before making the video. I don’t think at 256:1 you would get much foam. They ask for 4-5 ounces in a foam cannon. I would think that’s closer to 32:1 after it mixes with the water.
A good pre-wash will help loosen up the grit so it can be rinsed off before you contact with a mitt. Any good soap will help do this as well. DIY Detail Rinseless wash has surfactants and the lubrication of a rinsless so it has best of both worlds.
@@CarsWithKeav which is coating / sealant safe and strong enough to do most of the heavy lifting that a garden hose sprayer can knock off? I've been a fan of Gyeon products lately
@@MarcYanOfficial most would be true coating safe. The sealant safe part most strong ones would start to degrade that. Gyeon restart is protection safe and should be able to do well. Problem is since it has iron remover it will probably smell like rotten eggs.
Thank you for using DIY Detail.
Great vid
What is the mix?
32:1 is what I used, but I was told by DIY 128:1 should work just as good.
Should be getting some commission on that pivot attachment, I need that in my life lol thanks for the video.
It is a great accessory saves a lot of time and gets you into some areas without having to bend too much.

I have a network of shallow channels. Here is the video I did on it. ruclips.net/video/HV8xDwMUctk/видео.htmlsi=QZfZI9kmCwRCY1M7
Pretty impressive results for a rinseless wash 😮 and the Ik foamer made the application process that much easier.
Great products

Can you talk more about the pivoting coupler on your gun please?
I made a video on it here ruclips.net/video/gHc-FePyA_s/видео.html
Thanks for showing us a well dirty car...
It doesn't happen very often and still some its not dirty enough. LOL

What’s the dilution in the big electric foamer ?
32 to 1 with the DIY Detail Rinseless Wash if using as a pre-wash. Using as a rinseless wash I would go back to the recommended 256 to 1
Appreciate all the great content.
Thanks
How many oz of water and how many oz of rinseless did you use in the foam pro 12?
As a pre-soak 32 to 1 is the dilution ration. 1 ounce of product to 32 ounces of water.
@@CarsWithKeav thanks!
Is the Rinseless wash good for removing the gritty stuff that scratches the car? Seeing that I don’t have a pressure washer at the moment.
