  • We continue our American South West trip as we explore Potash Rd in Moab. Here we stopped at the petroglyphs, jug handle arch, Potash Ponds, Thelma and Louise Point, and and Horshoe Point. This place was way more beautiful than I expected.

Great cinematography, you have great background music playing I felt like I was there. One of the best videos of this area that I have seen. Thank you.

Glad you got to experience Moab! This is my stomping ground, I'm only a few hrs from Moab. Yes you definitely want a Rock crawler, or rent a SXS or Jeep. When you revisit, I'd recommend Poison Spider for your first trail, and then Hells Revenge. Poison Spider is more sand desert mixed with sandstone rock, extremely scenic. Hells Revenge is mostly Slickrock and will blow your mind the first time. Moab is Spectacular, but there are so many other amazing and less crowded places in Utah to also visit. The San Rafael Swell area is incredible and not far from Moab. SandHollow in St.George also has amazing rock crawling.

@KeepItDirtyOffRoad Yeah it's a special place for sure. Oh and must not forget the Little Sahara Sand Dunes a few hours east of Moab on West of I-15, that's a cool place to visit also.

Thanks man. I think we got lucky this day. Everything was perfect out there after the rain the night before. I think the rock color was brighter because they were wet and the clouds everywhere made it that much extra and beautiful. So want to go back.

@@KeepItDirtyOffRoad I have seen it right after the rain and with cloudy skies, and it is as you say. I actually performed a wedding at a little place there that looks straight across from the Dead Horse Point overlook and Thelma and Louise's Point, we found it by simply exploring a little road that seemed less traveled. The place looks down on the Colorado River and is one of the most beautiful and serene places I have ever been to, very few people visit it. I wish I could show you the pictures!

That whole area would be perfect for an event. Sad to hear people don’t visit it much. Maybe it’s because it’s so close to the national park. But it’s all BLM land and some of the most scenic areas I’ve ever seen.

@@KeepItDirtyOffRoad I found it on your video! At the 10:50 mark, right after you say, "That right there is Pyramid Butte" if you pause it, on the left of the screen and right in the middle top to bottom, you will see a formation that is in the shadow and to it's right there is a valley. The rock that is being hit with sunlight at the top of it and everything else is dark, that is where we performed it, my back towards the river. Again, thank you!

Thanks man. I use Final Cut Pro on a MacBook Pro. Love the app because it’s a single one time charge for it.
