SERVES: 4
OVEN TEMP: 180°C
INGREDIENTS:
1 ready made refrigerated pie crust (9 inch/24cm)
150 g thick ham
200 g button mushrooms
100 g spinach leaves
1/2 onion
280 ml single cream
5 eggs
150 ml milk
150 g Cheddar cheese, grated
Olive oil
Salt
Pepper
1 tsp paprika
STEP 1: FRY FILLING INGREDIENTS
Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a pan, then fry the chopped onion for a minute or two until softened. Next add the chopped ham and mushrooms and cook for another couple of minutes to bring out the colour. Finally add the spinach and wilt for about one minute then remove from the heat and allow to cool.
STEP 2: MAKE THE EGG CUSTARD
Whisk the eggs with the cream and milk, then add the grated cheese, salt and pepper, paprika and half the ham mixture and give it a good mix.
STEP 3: BAKE THE QUICHE
Pour the egg mixture into your ready made pastry crust, then top with the remaining ham mixture. Season with a little more pepper and bake for about 30 minutes until set.

Thanks for the video and easy instructions. Tried it out tonite, everything great except the cooking time I had to add 20 minutes so I was wondering, did you cook the crust ahead of time? I didn't so could that be the reason?, thanks again 🙏😊
