- Our bacon, and, Cheese Quiche is a simple, easy and delicious combination. I often make it up for breakfast and family and friends love it. Believe me, they will beg for the recipe. The great thing about Quiche is, you can alter the ingredients. For example, you can add garlic, onion, or any spice of your choice.

@@phyllismarony8948 Hi Phyllis, you are right, some vegetarians will not eat eggs, cheese, or any dairy. Some may include fish, and others may also choose to eat poultry. My husband doesn't eat meat, fish or poultry. He pulled this one on me in 1975, just 2 months after we married. Why? If he could get the proper nutrients & lead a healthy life without killing animals, that was his desire. He gave me 3 or 4 days notice, and sure enough, he ate no more "livestock" of any kind...for 44 years now & counting!

So last week I watched an old black and white cooking show of Julia child making quiche. Hers didn't contain any cheese. I never knew the original recipe didn't contain cheese, did you? How long should it take for a store-bought crust to thaw? Also, I couldn't tell from your video (I'm visually impaired), do you leave the crust in the aluminum shell when baking? Thank you

When you cut into the quiche, it was a bit wet. Is that done or could it use a few more minutes. I just threw it in the oven. Will check after 25 minutes, 35 minutes and 45 minutes. Then let is cool on the counter for about 15 minutes.
