I used to have a fast motorcycle and a long commute. On moto days, I could literally sleep in an 10 extra minutes.
I've surfed 20' makaha, parachuted, paraglided, trimmed 80' coconut trees, been married to a Korean witch, but that boat ride would scare the hell out of me and make me scream for my mommy.

Its like the rhine speedboats easy about 60meteres of pure power spit out.
Been on a sea doo that did 72mph on a flat calm lake. This is insane speeds for the water, it makes all sorts of diffrent splash noises when it gets over 100mph it's like skipping a rock across a lake.
145mph on a not exactly glass smooth surface, that takes some doing.... Would love to see a top speed run sometime.... Awesome boat mate! 👍🏻

A few years ago I did one 144 miles an hour down an Australian Highway (233kph) and it was frightening how the hell anyone could do that on water is mind boggling

It’s not an ocean boat,
it’s a river boat.
A 23 foot boat wouldn’t carry much and not much range with the fuel consumption-
flat bottoms aren’t much for blue water.
Container ships carry huge loads all the time and you can’t search them all.
Not glamorous but much more effective.
Those and the semi-subs.

Equally satisfying would be to see the fuel gauge meter display next to the speedometer display to demonstrate the Sea-Saw effect..!!! :D

Greetings . Thank You so much for posting this . Awesome video . I've close to a couple hundred hours going over 150 to 195 on a super sport bike . This is the only thing I've seen that brings me back to those times . What fun . We have lived more in 15 minutes then many will in their Whole life time .

nmnmnm... the boat is going so fast that the draft on plane is 1/100th of what it is when displacing (going slow). The boat is going so damn fast that barely any of the hull is in the water. WOT=Wide Open Throttle

I know this video is a couple years old. But it would be really cool to see a map tracking your course. I'm curious to see the kind of distance traveled while you're pinning that throttle.
You can see the speed and the elapsed time. It's super easy to calculate distance. It would be a very close estimate.

Lol my bike did exactly the same speed, hit rev limiter at 240km/h I would do that daily between the city and town I lived in but that boat would be 5 times the rush. Water can be unforgiving

since this is a jet drive maybe an afterburner could give additional boost from the back kind of a dual propulsion jet drive until a certain speed second stage afterburner

I would bet lots of money that this turbine engine came from a decommissioned helicopter or generator set. While not impossible, an afterburner would greatly add to mechanical complexity and maintenenace.
