    "No one did it to us. We didn't do anything to cause it. It's...Mother nature...act of God....There's nothing we can do to change it." Wow...What an attitude. I'll pray for his family.

      Climate change. Mother Nature will eventually kill humans for failing to respect her.

    This just shows how everyone is vulnerable to nature's tyranny, irrespective of the country you live in.

    People in the Midwest really value family treasures. That’s really awesome. The resilience demonstrated by the victims is refreshing. They’re very grounded. Seeing everyone wanting to help each other and come together as humans is amazing. Wishing them the very best from Los Angeles.

    Right now I don't just see a DT supporter. I see a man and his family who survived one of the worst natural disasters in American history. In need of a helping hand. May God bless him and his family and the town he lives in for a speedy recovery.

    Sometimes it takes a massive disaster for people to put away their petty differences to join forces, and help one another. Petty differences like politics and racism would be the last thing these poor victims will think about. They will cry together, heal together, and then smile together. This would be the best outcome from this tragic.

      I'm from central Ky.. I love my state. Our Gov. Is so awesome. I see this too. After all of the last 2 years and division if it takes Ky and God uses all of these people.. We all need to be united and the love from so many gives me so much hope in the Us again. God didn't cause this but He always shows up in Huge ways.. Amazing love like Jesus shows..

    These homes should be made of reinforced concrete and should have standards. These homes are made of mdf. That will crumble at the drop of a dime.

    • @megauser8512
      @megauser8512 2 года назад

      Sad but true . . . I really hope that they will be remade in reinforced concrete and steel, so that this doesn't happen again!

      All the homes went down. Some were not great housing I'm sure, but even historic homes from early 1900's fell..

    "We're alive and that's what's important". But remember, 200, 000 lives were lost in the tsunami near Thailand. Being alive is the only thing. But probably the fright will remain with them as long as they live

    • @g3user1usa
      @g3user1usa 2 года назад +2

      Yeah, the Sumatran tsunami was deadlier and more widespread but even if just a handful of people lose everything it's still quite upsetting and frustrating for those involved. I don't see how older people can ever recover from such a loss. One day you're living comfortably and the next day your life is in chaos. It can happen to anyone so we should be thankful for each good day.

    I remember when the Tsunami hit Japan, many civilians went out and looked for lost belongings….and would gather then up and give them to the local police.
    They would gather, clean, organize, and return pictures, personal items, ID’s, obvious heirlooms, and even wads of cash they found.
    Many civilians knew they could not help search and rescue, but they wanted to help try to return something to the survivors.
    Police saw what they were doing, and let them help in this way. It was clear they were not stealing or trying to take advantage of the situation.
    An officer was just near by in case one of the people accidentally found remains or something really important (saw one elderly person turn in a wallet, everything including cash still inside, to an officer).
    There is a difference on that sort of situation between looting and helping those who lost everything possible get a few treasured moments back
    If you a victim of a disaster, looking for a few essentials like cloths, medicine, and food is understandable. But if you find a personal item that is 100% not yours….don’t take it.
    Or to protect it give it to police of firefighter (like ID, wedding ring, birth certificate, or photographs).
    If a victim, a little bit of reasonable gleaning to help get you thru a few days (find food, water, some blankets, or materials to make a temporary shelter).
    But if NOT a victim or your not helping victims recover person items…..you have NO business looking thru stuff.
    For Gods sake, if you are helping and find guns and ammo, don’t touch, let an officer know ASAP.

    I realize the people are just barely recovering from the tornadoes but why is it that no one is wearing any masks as they could get infected from COVID-19 on top of losing their homes and possessions. Not even the reporters or those nurses were wearing masks. They could have virus spikes and I'm sure the hospitals would be overloaded from people who were injured from the tornadoes. I'm just concerned for their health as they're going to need to stay strong on their road to recovery from this devastation.

    This channel/site did multiple reports on the farmer's strike in India, just as ALL cable and local TV stations did.
    Yet neither you, nor ANY other mainstream media channel has even mentioned, in passing, the MASSIVE protests that have been going on for 28 days in the Pakistani province of Balochistan.
    Not even mentioned by the White House or even Ilhan Omar who is MOST agitated when it comes to the "oppression" of Muslims in Kashmir.
    I find that somewhat odd.
    Anyway to help you out, since you're all very busy and concerned:
