Okay I love all the new povs but no way is the Wilde beast is this smooth. You should take off the image stabilizer and let it really show how awesome and shakey this coaster can be. I fear for my life every time I go on this thinking it's going to veer off the tracks and that's what it should show.

It's Dame Time RMC (Rocky Mountain Construction) is a roller coaster manufacturer that builds many coaster models, one of which being that they take old, sucky wooden coasters, remove all the track, and replace it with their smooth ibox steel track and allow the coaster to do so much more than it did before, such as going upside down and making the drop steeper.

I doubt there is a realistically affordable fix, so I accept that my days on The Wilde Beast have come to an end. There's still plenty of awesome coasters and flat rides to keep me amused all season long. Canada's Wonderland is an exceptional park. The Wild Beast is a great classic wooden coaster and I'm sure it's great fun if you've got the spine for it.

Like, the stretches between drops and inversions on the newer coasters are so smooth, sometimes it feels like the excitement of the ride is over after the first couple of track features.....For wooden coasters like Wilde Beast & Mine Buster, love it or hate it, they barrage your senses constantly haha.

This is exactly the same design and construction as our old Bush Beast was at Australia's Wonderland in Sydney - which we lost back in 2004. Simply the most relaxing and enjoyable coaster ride design anywhere. You can ride it all day and never get tired of it. Someday I'm gonna travel halfway around the world just to ride this coaster. DO NOT scrap it before I do. Please!!!!! (oh and do NOT "RMC" it. Keep it exactly as it is!!!!). The best wooden coasters should feel like they are about to disintegrate underneath you, or throw you off the edge to plummet to the ground to the sound of snapping bolts and splitting wood. And this coaster design has it. Keep it that way!!!! The wooses can go ride something else.

Been riding this since 1990, great ride!! Sure is a lot of whining about rough rides (Wilde Beast, Mine Buster, Fight Deck, The Bat, Vortex) or RMC this or that. I think the newest rides are spoiling everyone. A person's physiology changes as well with age, I can't handle flat rides anymore. My inner ear can't handle the spinning. Yet I can ride coasters non-stop. As for headaches, being dehydrated can cause headaches. That happened to me last weekend and even Yukon Striker bothered me a bit, but today 14 rides straight on Yukon Striker and could have kept going hours more.

Did any other 80s and 90s park goers call it Wilde(will-da) Beast? That's what I remember calling it. I almost flew out of this ride when I was 9 on the airtime after the second turn around when the cars still had those black bars that just came down in front of you. This ride is a Wonderland classic, but I'd honestly like to see this one retracked and with new trains that look like the old ones for a smoother more modern ride. Minebuster would be the one that I would RMC.

I think the bumpiness adds a lot of excitement to the ride, but the last time I went on it my gut was completely destroyed by the end. I think they should at least use padding on the lap bar or something, so you won't be banging into it for the whole ride.
