Okay I love all the new povs but no way is the Wilde beast is this smooth. You should take off the image stabilizer and let it really show how awesome and shakey this coaster can be. I fear for my life every time I go on this thinking it's going to veer off the tracks and that's what it should show.
this is why i love minebuster, its so shaky and torturing that it makes it feel way more intense and fun even if you arent getting lots of airtimes or loops
@@bradpetersen18 No, there’s a difference between playful rough and unbearable. There are wooden coasters out there that have a bit of roughness to it and it adds to its character, however Wilde Beast is just plain uncomfortable and needs a retracking, maybe a full on RMC conversion
RMC it PLEASE! As a diehard fan of this park, and a season passholder for the majority of my life, I am begging you guys to give this coaster the RMC treatment. It would make Canada’s Wonderland THAT much better!
It's Dame Time RMC (Rocky Mountain Construction) is a roller coaster manufacturer that builds many coaster models, one of which being that they take old, sucky wooden coasters, remove all the track, and replace it with their smooth ibox steel track and allow the coaster to do so much more than it did before, such as going upside down and making the drop steeper.
For some reason I always ride this when I visit and I always regret it right after. It's the most painful rollercoaster in the park and the violent shaking throughout the entire ride will send everyone away feeling sore.
i guess it depends on your age.. i just went on this today and the only pain after was my neck and and spine because the fast wind pushes your head forward
As cool as an RMC renovation would be, I think this and Mighty Canadian Minebuster just need Great Coasters International to re-track both coasters and possibly get Millennium Flyer trains, similar to what they did with Ghost Rider at Knott's Berry Farm and Timber Wolf at Worlds of Fun.
Ohh, I think I put my back out just watching this! This wooden coaster continues to develop stronger lateral shaking over time. Sadly, it has become too intense for me to enjoy any longer. I doubt there is a realistically affordable fix, so I accept that my days on The Wilde Beast have come to an end. There's still plenty of awesome coasters and flat rides to keep me amused all season long. Canada's Wonderland is an exceptional park. The Wild Beast is a great classic wooden coaster and I'm sure it's great fun if you've got the spine for it.
i will never forget first going on this ride when i was 13. I swear i thought i was going to fall out of my seat because all there was to hold onto was the latch bar to hold you in place.
I absolutely love this ride! It's super shaky but super fun! I don't even feel pain on the ride so idk what everyone's complaining about. This is coming from someone who enjoys time warp though, so I might just be more used to shakey rides.
I tried wilde beast and it was a painful ride experience, Welp, it's nice to say that minebuster is the thing for ya coaster fans to ride, no pain, but fun!

I just smh at people who assume old wooden coasters are boring. The shakiness and loudness really get my adrenaline pumping in ways the smoother coasters don't. Like, the stretches between drops and inversions on the newer coasters are so smooth, sometimes it feels like the excitement of the ride is over after the first couple of track features.....For wooden coasters like Wilde Beast & Mine Buster, love it or hate it, they barrage your senses constantly haha.
My lap bar came up on this ride when I was little and going down the first hill. Thankful for my dad beside me during the ride to push it back down. The ride was then shut down for about 2-4 hours after
