This ride fixed my neck pain from an incident years ago. I am forever grateful for that!
This ride felt like an aggressive chiropractor 🤣
if you ride it again it comes back
@@Croutonman-v5p I had fast pass and rode it like 14 times in a row with no wait 😂
Mhm
Ahh, one of my favorites. This is the ride my cousins and I would jump on when there was like half an hour left before the whole park closes for the day. The reason being is that, once the ride was over, there would rarely be anyone else wanting to get on Minebuster at this point. So instead of leaving the ride, the operator would let us stay in the carts and just let us ride it all over again. We went on Minebuster like nine times once without getting off lol good times
Honestly, half hour before close, you had your pick of non-top tier rides for unlimited goes
Dragon Fyre was what I chose at the hour
@@BruceOp same i went on it like 5 times in a row an hour before the park closed
I hear its rough. How rough?
@@bigfellaoo7 it’s so rough it hurt my bum then went through my spine and it busted my mind because its mind buster
Definitely much smoother POV. Minebuster is ever so slightly better than Wild Beast. W/B feels like a magnitude 17 earthquake 😂
It’s called Wilde beast but true
I see your comment in literally all roller coaster videos
Poop Poop And, your point being?
Wilde Beast is noticeably smoother than Minebuster in almost all seats, especially the front.
zoes0430 zoes0430 ikr?
My first ride choice when I came yesterday…it was INTENSE man. These POVs aren’t like the actual experience when you’re in person. This was super rough but it was fun and you feel like you’re lifting off your seat lots of air time too!!
I used to call it the Spinebuster, but it’s been running much better this year and actually providing enjoyable rides :). Thanks for the re-tracking
Canadian Bonbons that's the best part
facts I went on this a year a go and its fun
Well, it's back to being the Spinebuster, I took my dad on it for the first time in like 20 years a few days ago, and it gave me a bruise on the side of my head, and when the ride was over, my dad actually asked me if I had been trying to kill him.
@@wilfstor3078 how did it give you a bruise on the side? The seat is only touching the back of your head
@@LShaver947 I was looking left at the time, and it went around the sharp curve in the tunnel.
Here’s a little tip, if you want to ride the mine buster, sit in the front. If you want to ride the spine buster, sit in the back.
Unrated comment
I’m going on on it in six days with my friend for the very first time wish me luck
This ride is perfect for when you want to feel hungover without the drinking.
@Canadian Bonbons huh?
lol
Yk someone who wants to feel hungover?
@@adamdamji4750 my mom🙁
Don’t let this ride fool you, this feels like an earthquake way bigger than the one in the Indian Ocean
Ahh yess my favourite ride, the bone crusher!
Man. That tunnel at 1:56 irl is pure earape
They should call this the Spine Buster! That left turn at the end is pulling some serious G’s. I love how the wooden coasters shake you to the core… 😂
It's retracked
One of my favorite memories of my daughter, Heather. We went to Canada's Wonderland right after it opened. On our first ride on this coaster we sat in the front and I told her to hold her hands up and the first person to grab the rail lost. She dropped her hands on the first jarring curve. As soon as the ride ended we ran around to ride again, which we did for hours. After a few times holding our hands up as we crested the first lift I said let's scream "We're all gong to die!". Some of the people on that ride ran around and went on again and soon everyone on the coaster was screaming "We're all going to die!" as we crested the lift. Later in the day as wandered around close to the coaster we laughed when we heard everyone riding the coaster screaming "We're all going to die!" That was a whole lot of years ago and unfortunately my daughter abandoned me long ago for reasons I've never known, but this was one of my favorite memories with her.
Hey Gary. Sorry to hear about what happend between you and your daughter, she sounds like a wonderful women who was raised by a family that loved her very much. I know a friend who also walked away from his family and I think it’s important to know that sometimes it’s really no one’s fault but unfortunate circumstances we’re put in. I can only guess she had her reasonings but I’m CERTAIN that this is also one of her favorites memories that she’ll look back to from time to time. Keep positive Gary, I pray that your family will be reunited one day or another
Looks and sounds like a proper wooden classic! I'm excited to ride in the future
Definitely a classic lol it’s fun. Was my first coaster when I was little
Your spine won’t
That's some great video stabilization!
I was born and raised in Cincinnati. The Shooting Star was my first adult roller-coaster. So glad to see this mirror image layout and so happy the memory of the great Shooting Star lives on in this coaster.
My favourite ride in the entire park probably! I enjoy this ride so much and always get my friends to ride it. You gotta love spinebuster!
Tip for this ride, sit in the front and don't sit on a wheel seat, the wheel seats are the ones that hurt. Last time I rode this my gf wanted to sit in the way back, worst mistake ever it felt like I pulled something at the drop after the turn around
Thanks im going next Wednesday and I didn't know this tip
I broke my toe at the drop in the wheel seats
When I was 4 I saw a kid puke on this ride and it instilled a lifelong fear of vomit into my tiny brain
ladies wear extra support if you plan on this ride!! no pain hurts like this
just as i remember it from 30 years ago. such a fun ride, going into the shed was kinda scary the first time, but it quickly became my favorite coaster.
Keep pumping out these great POV’s, Wonderland!
This is my favorite ride at Wonderland, I love old wooden coasters
kudos to the camera for being so stable on this ride. Doesn't do it justice to how violent it actually is.
I remember going on this with my big sis and being rattled and shook and loving every second of it 😂🥰
I know people have been advocating for Minebuster to get the RMC treatment, but personally, I don't think it would work very well due to its out-and-back layout. I'd much rather have GCI come in and give it a thorough retracking before putting on Millennium Flyer trains.
RMC is free to have Wild Beast, though.
They can’t do either due to the Canadian law: “you can’t hire a company outside of Canada to do something a Canadian company can already do
I have never heard of that law
Then why is b and m hired
Also b and m is from Switzerland
And the track is made in ohio
this is the ride that got rid of my fear of rollercoasters and i will always love it because of that
I used to ride this coaster when i was a kid, somewhere around 1986-1989. I remember that Ontario advertised it on Their CBC commercials waaaaay back. Can't believe its still around. it was smooth back then, i'm sure 35 years has made it practically unrideable. Thanks for uploading this piece of my childhood. None of that other stuff was there back then, it was all grass and trees around, no water rides or steel coasters around it.
It’s definitely not unridable since they’ve replaced certain parts of the track, but it certainly isn’t pleasant
This is the first proper roller coaster I ever rode one, I remember just before the first drop my brother started checking to make sure he was properly secure then as we dropped he wacked his nose off the safety bar. Had a nosebleed for the rest of the ride lol
2:07 if you’re lucky and you visit in the fall, you can be surrounded by hundreds of spiders and their webs as you enter the platform, they love the wood and boggy surroundings
I remember when this ride was new. About the best wooden coaster I've ever been on. It was drizzling off and on most of the day, it was a weekday and there were very few people in the park. We went on this ride seven times in a row, running from the exit and back on again. We did the same on the Wild Beast and the Dragon Fire. What a day!
They made it look so calm when I went on I thought I was gonna die and levitate at the same time 😭
my favorite ride tbh. periodt.
I’m going today and I’m definitely riding this!!!
That GoPro Hero 7 is really getting put through its paces.
Nah this the Spinebuster hurt my back bro 💀
Man that sound. No other coaster sounds like this 😆
Brings back lots of good memories.
This ride broke down right before my turn a few years back, it was terrifying to be the first group back on it, I was terrified the last few times, but when Canada's wonderland reopens I am so going on this ride
I love this and the wild beast !! everytime I go there I always go on these rides lol. Best is at night time !
I accidentally punched my dad in the facs on this ride 🤣😂
xD How?...
Behemoth makes it look small😂
Lol was just thinking it doesn’t look nearly as bug after being on the Leviathan 😂
1. Wembley and mokey are in front and SpongeBob and Patrick are in 2nd row on the minebuster roller coaster
2. Wembley and mokey are cheering and SpongeBob and Patrick are cheering too
Uncle traveling Matt and gobo doesn’t like it
Its fun and all with great airtime hills but the part at the end when you start entering the tunnel is the park where you are experiencing strong hits from left to right, but it's still a good one.
It’s one of the worst coasters I’ve been on. I got a massive headache.
the tunnel made my ears go kaboom
Went on it the other day and it was very rough and bumpy.
If it were smoother it’d be a great ride, but not for all of us.
EXACTLY BROO, i loved the drops but the ride was WAYY too bumpy, it gave me a headache😢😢
Bruh
I love it. A real fav of mine.
I went on this today and me and my friend bonked our heads together SOOOOOOO HARD when we were turning
This is not as smooth as it looks... This is a good ride but it’s bumpy at and u hit ur head. I like the ride, but editing it to make it seem smooth was kinda dumb
The camera has a built in stabilizer
Koji Yeah ik but the extremity of it misleads people
it was one of the original rides when the park opened in 1981 and its wooden that’s why it’s not smooth but i agree they should be misleading people. i hit my head and it made my arms hurt. but i did like the ride
It was bumpy but I didn’t hit my head it wasn’t dizzy :3
They retracked it this year so it’s a bit better then before
My first roller coaster ride in the nineties
This is my first roller coaster at Wonderland
This was my first roller coaster when I was 8 years old
The best part of this ride is how it feels like its going to fall apart underneath you lol
Great ride!! Usually get on once every visit to the park. Miss those 1990 lap bars when a single rider could sit in the center of the seat. Likewise for Wilde Beast and Ghoster Coaster. Not the mention the extra thrill going over the hills.
Still remember when I first rode it after Splash Works was installed and two outbound humps became one. I was unaware of the change and having ridden it countless times, I instantly thought we left the tracks when it didn't come down as expected!! Fastest I ever grabbed the lap bar!!!
I really miss those original hills. It’s funny how altering two bunny hills and updating the lap bars can really impact the ride experience - for the worst that is!
What would be great is if they do end up doing some track maintenance in the future, is to reinstall those original hills that Paramount got their crummy little hands on.
I remember this ride as a kid in the 80s. Was too small and my dad got me on lol had to keep his leg over my lap so I didn’t fly out 😂😂😂 still one of my favourites.
i went on this the other day i hit my head so hard going down one of the drops on the side of the cart and now i call it the mind buster LMAO
Everytime I've gone on this ride, it was like: OUCHOUCHOUCHOUCHOUCHOUCHOUCH!!!!
My friend jokingly calls Minebuster “The Spine buster”
when i got off i said thanks for the headache oops
I love that ride
I love this ride
God when I went on this ride, I just forgot I was on the ride and thought there was an earthquake happening instead
literally almost broke my neck on this the other day 😭😭
Bro this is my all-time favourite ride ❤
My uncle called this the spine buster, My dad went on it in the 80s didn’t notice the Do Not Stand Up sign because he was too busy standing up. In 2019 I visited the park for the first time, second ride I ever went on, the tunnel was a really neat idea
Shooting Star sent me here... Minebuster really is a near mirror image of Coney Island (Cincinnati) top coaster. Right turn instead of left at the top, out and back, and the helix with the tunnel. Very cool. Shooting Star last ran almost 50 years ago, nice to see the design has been preserved.
I never really got the hate Minebuster has been getting. It's a great airtime packed ride and is pretty smooth in the middle rows of each car. Not to mention the padded seat dividers. In my opinion, I actually liked the bumpy airtime this ride gives. It's quite unique in that regard.
The mighty Canadian spine, buster
My mother, stepsister, uncle, cousin and I went there Monday and my mother, stepsister and I rode this ride. They both hated it due to how rough it is and I loved it. Lol. I got on it a second time and they both refused to get back on it with me.
Maybe Canada's Wonderland should spend their next off season refurbishing some of their coasters. That means giving Wild Beast and Mighty Canadian Minebuster the GCI refurbishment, adding the same restraints found on Fly The Great Nor'Easter at Morey's Piers and the Freedom Flyer at Fun Spot America to Flight Deck and Silver Streak respectively. And maybe (if they really need it) adding the same restraints found on the Blue Hawk at Six Flags Over Georgia and the Flying Cobras at Carowinds to Dragon Fire and the Bat respectively.
Not possible. Canada has a law that doesn’t allow it.
Hi I Bob Canada has a law that doesn't allow them to do what?
Mitchell Ries You can’t hire a company outside of Canada if a Canadian company could do it
Mitchell Ries They probably don’t want more traffic or something. It’s a stupid law.
Best ride in the world. Other than getting a concussion with each turn, and getting your ears blasted through the tunnel 😂
GIGANTIC WOODEN COASTER
A prime candidate for the MMC treatment and restoring its original layout
Really bumpy but it makes the ride way more fun!
This roller coaster in video seems smooth but wow, this roller coaster feels like a really bad earthquake like the one in Acapulco in 2021
Came to wonderland with my girlfriend, first thing she wanted to do was the drop tower, then behemoth, then leviathan and she loved them all, wanted to do the windseeker and slingshot the next day. After we went on this she didn't want to ride Rollercoasters anymore 😂
I love this ride lmao. Me and my 2 other friends went on this like 11 times in a row and there were times where the water above us from the waterslide would fall onto us or some drops of water would splash on us
I'm praying this DOESNT get reworked bc honestly i love how bumpy and shaky it is bc it adds to the intensity and makes it really that much more fun than rides like leviathan and behemoth (once u get used to it) I used to fear all these bumpy rides so much but now id rather go on mine buster than its neighbouring yukon anyday
All time favourite coaster.
I love this ride myself but the majority of friends I went on this with didn't like it, probably because it's shaky. I didn't let my girlfriend on this because of her condition with her legs and how shaky it is.
If u don’t have back problems then you’ll have them after the ride 👍🏻😁
Loved it idk why people are saying there head hurts.
Its either you get out of that coaster with bruises from how sharp the turns are or with a damaged eardrums from kids screaming in the tunnel
This ride has gotten a lot rougher over the years.. I understand that wooden roller coasters are supposed to have a bumpier, more rustic ride, but this one just hurts now.. my entire body shakes with every drop and turn… the Wilde beast in the same park hasn’t gotten as painful as this one.
These hills have tons of potential, a gci or gravity group retrack would do this wonders
I call this ride, "The Whiplash"
I'm not convinced that I didn't die on this ride, and am now in the afterlife.
i just went there tday the shake is crazy
Once all of the new POV’s are done, they need to delete all the old ones.
I love canada's wonderland
It sounds like the ride is about to blow up
I love this coaster it is my favourite one
The mine buster hurts so bad but it’s so much fun 😂😭
i went on this and i was not expecting it to be that fast
I love this😂
I don't even remember most of the ride, half the time I was yelling at my brother lol
my favourite, me and my friends went on this 5 times in a row. it is not as bad as people say 💀
PERSON 1: "I broke my legs, my arms, my spine, my head, my back, my elbows, my feet, and everything else."
PERSON 2: "You wanna go on again?"
PERSON 1: "Absolutely. Firetruck yes."
Very intense very fast and although it shakes a lot towards the end it is smoother than the Wilde beast, which is A comparable wooden roller coaster
Is it possible to fabricate new modern steel tracks to upgrade the coaster and make it a smoother ride? (Steel Vengeance ish)
Part of the fun of this one is that it’s rough lol It’s a classic in general and in the park
Ah yes, the mighty Canadian body buster
I went on this ride with my family and I was warning them that it would be scary, but they said “Oh no, it’s just a train that goes around the park” and we went on it and I was shaking when I got off 😭😭
