Thank you. But what I dont understand is the "provide a definition" part in a quantitative purpose statement. What is exactly meant by that and what is are common definitions in academia? Escpecially when like in my context, there are 9 independent variables and 5 dependent variables.
Keep in mind that the purpose statement isn't a single sentence. It is generally several sentences or even a few paragraphs long. Within the purpose statement you should provide a brief explanation of the variables, and you can include more specific, detailed definitions of your variables later in the paper. You should check in with your professor/advisor/editor to see what they are looking for on this, because different organizations sometimes go by different conventions

My instructor told me to do a qualitative research study instead of mixed method. Already wrote down the example of the purpose statement.
