Yes, simple as that! The Strymon's input is a little weird though compared to other guitar pedals. It can take a mono or stereo signal in. I've recently sold it though because the for the actual delay effect, both channels are summed to mono. Swapped it for the TC Electronic flashback v2 and I made myself a nice custom preset suited to my needs for use in a dj context
@@juicythedj750 hey, thx for the answer! I also have Lucia and i am looking for an extern fix device but unfortunately i am not very firm with technical issues :) would you recommend the strymon? Or what would you chose? Thx!
@@wm7360 Strymon pedals are loved by keyboard players and guitarists for their super organic and lush sound, but maybe they are a little overkill for Dj use. And again: just recently I learned that the El Capistan (and and the others of their small pedal range probably), don't really process the sound in true stereo. The TC Electronic flashback v2 on the other hand, does. And I like the editor that allows you to create custom presets which can be saved in three user slots. I changed the "level" control to a tone/eq control for example
Hey there.. quick question. I just got my Carmen and I am having issues connecting my fix pedal. Do you just do mixer fx out to fx capital in and fx capitán out to mixer fx in?
Hi Nicolas, yes the FX pedal should be connected exactly as you describe. Any FX pedal or module will work as long as you can set the dry/wet mix on the effect to 100% wet. That means that none of the original signal is coming out of the effect unit and going back to the mixer. Only the effect (reverb, delay...) must be sent back to the mixer.
This unit still had the IC - based isolator. I believe that one was 4 - pole. It wasn't mine by the way :) After replacing the XLR's, it had to make room for my Taula 4 again ;)
This wasn't mine :) it came to me for repairs from a guy who also rents his mixers out so it had seen some club use already. Also the steel finish gets a dirty look very quickly
top mixer, top track, top artist
i love the sound of condesa! Can you please share which speakers you use in this video? Thank you! 🙏🌿
That's when I probably still had my old RCF Ayra Eight's :)
@@juicythedj750 Thank you so much! 😊
What a video💫
Could you please show how you have connected your Condesa to you El Capistan fx unit?
How do you connect the stymon to the Lucia? With a jack to chinch cable?

so dope! btw which wood color is this? the blonde or dark?
Can't say for sure, but I would say "blonde". Had this in just for a few days for a quick repair.
Im waiting for my lucia to arrive! Sweet!! Whats the effects unit you've got in the setup?
Strymon El Capistan!
Is the faceplate black anodised aluminium or brushed stainless steel?
This was the brushed steel faceplate :)
Is this a real question?

Hows the Pot Resistance on the Condessa
Very nice & just what you'd expect from the ALPS RK27's - the same potentiometers as used in the E&S, Taula 4, Mastersounds...
Damn nice !
Is it the 2 or 4 pole iso ?
This unit still had the IC - based isolator. I believe that one was 4 - pole. It wasn't mine by the way :) After replacing the XLR's, it had to make room for my Taula 4 again ;)
Decent!
The mixers aren’t that good
Could do with a little clean my guy 😂

Clickbait, oh hey lets quickly twist some knobs to look like I know what I'm doing here. Disturbing to say the least.
Read the description next time? Kthxbye 🙏
