Thanks Edward. Once again, another totally new track for me to learn. I'm always impressed by how many separate golden little nuggets of wisdom you pack into these videos. The second or third viewing, after I've gotten familiar with the track, is always the most rewarding. If I find myself struggling with a particular sector, most of the time, on review, you will have already provided the advice I'm looking for. You're a champion.
@@edwardbuchanan871 So I followed your suggestions. First time out at Hungaroring ever, I went with the iracing setup and worked at basic track familiarisation until I could stitch a basic lap together (after much spinning). Then I tried your setup. Bloody night and day difference mate! I've still got a few seconds to find after my first practice session. I'll need a good few more yet. But yeah, I reckon your prediction that those with the stock setup will be at a serious (and dangerous) disadvantage is bang on the money. So yet again, thank you so much for sharing. This series would be greatly diminished for me and I'm sure quite a few others without your channel.
This week is gonna be awesome :) :) I think the racestart was unfortunate we both overshoot the corner at the beginning. I was lucky this time. Just so you know, this all thanks to you. :) I only work diligently. I was 1.3k when I started to watch your channel.
For the qualy I only used 4l of bensin and dropped the ride height by 1mm front and back. I lost control on last turn but had around 54.8 on delta on the second flying lap. I also did experiment with right front camber but did not find more grip for double apexing.
Hey Edgard!!!!! Done testing. Excellent setup. In turn 2 and 13 I try to brake a bit latter and trying to make double apex. I think this way there are possibly more tents in this setup. I am gonna try to figure out how can I have a little bit more support in mid corner. But I think I will be able to hit 54's like you and have amazing races. Excellent Excellent Thanks a lot :)
I copied this setup, but it says mine is .7mm higher in rear. My corner weights are off, too. I checked 20 times before coming here to ask.😂 Any ideas?

@simonolsen9995 to kind 😊. This week you might be able to pounce, especially early on

@JVCIstvan that's racing.you were putting on the pressure and I screwed up. Wouldn't want it any other way other than me screwing up
I learned something today Thank you. Finally understanding the camber. I did not have the logic to change the camber. Brilliant.
@@JVCIstvan just don't go beating me 😜
@@edwardbuchanan871 Haha Yes Master :)
@@edwardbuchanan871 But I gotta do well, its my home track :P

@JVCIstvan good to know, great win 🏆
Alright without watching it, thx for bailing me out. My setup building completely failed. 1.55 flat my best. I cannot wait to get home and try it out.
Setup feels great compared to stock! I'm still 3s off your pace, I need to work on keeping that momentum up (and avoiding the 1x's). Thank you!
@iang265 oh those x's. A little more practice and you'll be able to feel how much speed you can carry through those long corners

@@JVCIstvan good to hear. There was a voice in the back of my head saying I was off my rocker
So when I bought the tracks I for this series I somehow missed this track so looks like I'll try bit of rookie again
@brainbeatuk well that's too bad. It is a track that gets used in quite a few series, worth picking up next time

@irpk239 could be the fuel levels are different, they do have an effect
