Good setup for me. Popping another cherry on this week's track too. I tried the stock setup and yours. Both with short and standard gear sets. Yours wins by a country mile. I'm always off pace, but I was getting nice consistent laps in the mid 25's. Which is good enough to earn points if I can keep a clean nose. Thanks as always.

As always, thank you for your guidance. For some reason, I seem to prefer the lower brake bias and less rear bar. Perhaps that is because I run the fixed set up so often, and I am used to steering with the pedals lol.
Great setup, thanks! Almost impossible to spin out. I don't have any experience with the Ray FF1600 but I'll work on the setup and let you know if I'm able to reduce lap times. Winton is a very fun track.
@@edwardbuchanan871 I made some changes to mainly the spring rate and camber which allows the car to turn more in the turns increasing exit velocity without compromising stability. I'll check your profile for an email and send you the setup, or you can posy your email here if you'd like.
@brainbeatuk it's a fun track to drive, racing can be a headache. The mx5 is hard no, one of my happiest iracing experiences was when I got out of rookie and never had to drive the mx5 again 🤣 . It's sure popular but not with me
Haha yh I'm not a mx5 fan tbh, I am however a bh pro lol, I think because it's all I ever tested stuff on ac on in vr for years so I know ever detail, I jumped in gr86 and I got 1.40.1 first try, only a sec.5 away from aliens lol 2nd place in 1st race too, maybe would of got 1st as wad catching buy went into t1 turn fast lost 1 sec
Winton, gross. Worst circuit on iRacing. I am still bitter about wasting $14.95 on that garbage track when it released. It is the reason I don't blindly purchase new tracks anymore. The first sector and the last sector are decent. Sector 2 thru the first part of sector 3 are the worst stretch of racecourse on earth. "Racing" at speeds that golf carts will hit is the opposite of fun. I wish they would retire it. I'll catch you next week maybe. Best of luck!

@simonolsen9995 your getting close! Watch the braking not so hard and sudden, smoother on this track, should get you some green delta
