For the size of archguns you would think they would do some serious dmg right.
I'd expect the archetype of weapons meant for taking out aircraft and ships to be the strongest in terms of killingness.
And time is takes to makes them and use them in regular missions.
Zenith is THE utility primary, ESPECIALLY for the Fluctus. The secondary fire that highlights heads will stay active forever, meaning you can set it where enemies spawn and then run away to shoot them through the walls.
I pretty much always carry zenith around for that very reason
You stated that Archguns do not get ammo from any other source. If you kill Heavy enemies, they have a chance to drop Archguns Cool down pods. There is even one in your vid at 3:07.
When you have an Archguns out, it restocks your ammo. If you pick up one when you do not have your Archgun out, it resets the timer to allow you to redeploy right away.

A protea specter is all he needs. Subsuming dispenser is a huge mistake.
@chettonex I wouldn't say a *huge* mistake... dispensery also fixes energy which can be capitalized on even more with equilibrium and/or purple Archon shards. It's a great utility ability, and it guarantees the ammo you'll want for an archgun anyways rather than relying on RNG to get it

good to know that you can put together a very specific build, where the frame, weapons, mods, incarnon evolutions, companion, and companion mods/weapons are required, alongside a bug, to make archguns a good option. not the best, just good. balance👍

Archgun ammo DOES drop in missions from eximus enemies, but it's rare.

Can you confirm that at some point Arcanes like Acceleration worked on Archguns? I'm certain it worked before the Whispers update.

@@DJCantStop The only Ability I can ever part with on Lavos is Vial Rush. The mobility is addicting, but he stops functioning without the other three. I also use his 1 augment though, so ymmv.
@@SK-mw8vd I might give it a try. I do hate the randomness of the vials, but when it lands properly it absolutely shreds

The Larkspur actually has an alternate fire mode with high crit stats instead of status! Haven‘t tried it cuz I dont have a Gravimag for it yet, but might be useful for Acolytes.
Also: why Blind Rage and not Precision Intensify? Does Dispensary actually have a chance to not give loot on negative strength?
It’s for shield gating purposes, I need negative eff to shield gate properly

Would equipping Shivering Contagion on either his primary or sentinel weapon benefit this build at all, since it applies to all cold procs, but just the ones from your weapons? It might give a small effective range boost to Avalance but I'm not sure if that would carry over the other benefits like the armor strip.

@@noahedenborg4221 I saw the patch notes for the arcane on the wiki that mentioned a couple things from back in December...but nothing about the aspects of MI that actually make it OP. Was there anything else?
We should get archgun arcanes like they did with melees.
I REALLY want to lime biting frost but it doesn't work on the enemies you would need it most. Acolytes and over guarded enemies since they don't freeze it doesn't work. The res of he enemies once armor stripped become pretty easy to kill even without the best loadouts

2:20 or fight infested and have more archgun ammo that you know what to do with cause the ancients drop it all the time? or find your nearest napalm or other heavy unit and stab him in the face?
It is not a guaranteed drop, much less running around looking for the drop from earlier
@@Aznvasions it drops enough. with their high density once they start coming. it's not uncommon for me to see a few on the ground in a large tile after just fighting for a few minutes. although with an archgun focused build you're gonna be sucking it up most of the time.
Actually, nourish is the only elemental effect that DOES work on archguns... Which is kinda sad since its clearly a bug DE doesnt care about.

I have no clue how you can get "comfortable" 120kpm when I can't get 100 with a buffed up torid on a min-maxed weapons platform. Still a good vid.
Don't use blind rage, use precision intensify. Easier to get and no negatives.

I've tried avalanche and combat discipline in the past and it's not optimal because it chips away at overguard first, yes overguard doesn't matter in high level but it feels rather unreliable and wasted imo

DE should just make the Archgun an option that you can equip by giving up a secondary or melee weapon slot and giving them the full list of galvanised and primed mods.

No nourish on frost?! I mean, you give x3 energy regen to allies with it and with arcane energize proc that is 450 energy for you and your allies!! Archon flow makes you drop energy orbs like crazy as well, so yeah, you kinda guess the synergy there.
Since you have one of the best armor stripping skills, there is no need for archgun and dispensary. You can easly go with bubonico or sporelacer (aoe and infinite ammo on both), ignis, phantasma, etc or just with any reliable glaive. No need for the crit augment as well.
Nourish doesn't work on archguns as stated in the video. And yes any other gun would do better but this is an archgun build
