80s Lead Star 1V super strat- East German greatness (soviet era strat)

This was just in for a service, there were a few little things which needed addressing, the rotation of the knobs wasn't ideal and it was catching the wood, so I corrected them, I also glued the knob back on to the switch, I generally always replace switch tips but I didn't have a spare black one. I also put in some higher tensioned springs to stop the tremolo from lifting, on first play I couldn't get this to stay in tune due to the tremolo's lift, it's now solid to the body and staying in tune.
Next up were the tuners, they were loose and needed some tightening, then I polished up the frets, restrung it using the old strings as they were relatively new and perfectly fine. (Ernie ball cobalt)
Did a bit of intonation work, I didn't adjust the set up as it was fine and the owner liked the way it felt and played (I do as well) it's a little bit higher then I'd normally set it, but we are dealing with an eastern European guitar.
Finally I tightened the strap buttons and had a play, this has gfs pick ups and man do they sound great. It's actually one hell of a guitar tonally and now I need to order a set of the gold foils! They sound unbelievably good!
The guitar is definitely in a players grade state and has lots of knocks and scars. The finish looks a little hazy but that's not my finger prints or smudges, that's just the very thin coat of paint and finish showing the hard life it has had.
Over all it was a fun job and I'm extremely impressed by the sound of this. Guitar fetish y'all make some great pick ups!
