Sorry about the Fan noises! it was farking hot
This is the owners pride and joy, he and his guitar like to travel all over the place, so I like to think as this as his old weathered friend.
Anyway, this ended up getting a complete new wiring rig at some point but a few things were overlooked. It had some grounding issues.
Luckily I'm pretty good at the whole guitar electronics thing and was able to sort.
I did offer him a complete rewire but he just wanted the issues at hand fixed.
So first up was the toggle switch, one of them wasn't able to carry the ground, so new switch some copper tape and bam done. It's wired up like a jaguar, I would of gone a different route but it works.
Next up was the bridge pick up, the original pick up has been removed and in its place is a big ol dimazios humbucker that's been wired up in a configuration to be in phase with the original neck, however the cover was not grounded so every time you touched it you got a hissssss, plus you want everything to be grounded.
The jack is also wrong and needs to be a long shaft. However I don't have any spare and didn't order any so the original will do.
Apart from that I left the rest along apart from new strings and after I stretch the strings it can go home finally 😊
    It's good to be back

Is $160 a good price for one like this?
