@isaiaht no its not I can play the majority of their discography and trust me this dont touch some of their songs in terms of complexity or difficulty, all the guitar parts are quite simple actually that's the genius of the song though and how the guitars are layered gives a sense there is more going on then there is
I don't think many understand how incredibly difficult this is. Not only did you play all of this live and loop everything perfectly; you didn't make any mistakes on any of those guitar parts. Very well done!
You followed the golden rule of covering this song. The fact that their are covers out there without the eeeeeeeeeeeedddd is criminal. So cool, i hope people request more radiohead.
That’s was awesome to watch man. Takes one man band to a whole new level . Especially with such a layered and complex song like that. That is one of my favorite RadioHead songs by far. Well done my friend. I don’t think that audience had any idea of what just happened
As a solo musician myself, who loves this song, this is super impressive! Amazingly well done! It also makes me feel slightly better that you absolutely crushed this and got a mild response from the crowd. I feel that. Sometimes your best performances aren't maybe appreciated in the moment like they could be.
Something I've learned with working with really talented people is...most general people are just numb to the magic of authentically performed music these days, they have short attention spans, they hear produced music everywhere all the time, and it's like "oh he's playing guitar, that's nice, anyway what was I talking about..." They are used to the idea that, as Radiohead would say, "anyone can play guitar," and it just washes over them. They may also not have the technical understanding of just how involved and impressive this level of tech-wrangling is as a solo live musician. This guy is fucking legit and they are witnessing years of dedication and practice and obsession. I go through it myself as an artist, I feel so proud to have mastered something and everyone else just hears "Yeah cool man sounds like music, anyway..."
damn when you looped the "ayyyyyy ayyyy's" right in time at the right point of the song, so impressive. People really need to play with a loop pedal to understand how hard it is to build this track and almost 1 take on all the loops is crazy.
I was mowing the lawn listening to youtube and this popped into my ears. I was blown away at the sound and quality of the musicianship. I then came into the house to watch this "incredible band" playing this cover at which point my jaw dropped and my mind melted in amazement. WOW! Just WOW!

You did this by request at the last chair in Brian Head this past weekend and it was even more amazing in person! keep it up man you're talent will take you where you want to go!

What a fabulous performance. It's no easy feat to perform that piece as seamlessly as you did. It's a shame your talents, and passion were basically wasted on that crowd.
Don't know how i got here. Half expected a shitty cover of Creep. Instead an amazing cover of my favorite Radiohead song. This deserves a like and subscriber.
I wish that non-guitar players would understand how difficult this is. Every loop is made to perfection. You surprised me with the entry vocals, Well done man, well done.
Man I come back to this every now and then. I can play this on guitar, but the level of skill it’s taking to loop all of this, with 0 mistakes, and to remember all the parts! Hats off to you sir
That was absolutely phenomenal. I've tried to imagine how one could build this up as a live loop, and recording Ed's vocals in the beginning is an excellent touch. I don't even think it's possible to transition to the coda without stopping the song dead in its tracks, so how you worked your way into that solo and that extended outro is probably about as good as it's going to get.
Thanks much! 🤙🏽 I've done a version where I work in the changes harmonies to the outro but imo it takes a little bit of the drive away so I just push into the chaos a little more and transition the ending lyrics at some point.
This is one of my favourite Radiohead songs, that never seems to get the attention it deserves. At first,, I was expecting Creep. Then the intro to Wierd Fishes builds. First off great video. Second, I'd be willing to bet the people who challenged you to play a Radiohead song probably left within 5 minutes because you met the challenge and called their bluff. Third, from the looks of the folks coming in and out of the door I doubt any of them even knew who Radiohead is hence the tepid response. You killed it. Be proud.
