You need so much more recognition, you are 10 times better then all other youtube cover channels today. This is coming from someone that is a serious fan of Radiohead and very judgemental when it comes to music. For that I say brilliant job chap!
Honestly of the quality of camera was a little better this content would be on the same level of some youtubers with hundreds of thousands of subs, keep it up
Just got a looper and have been watching videos lately. This is the best implementation I have heard yet. I have no idea why you don't have more subs. Jesus that was excellent.
I really like this because it's got a bit more of a progressive feel. I mean, just the fact that you extended it to 7 minutes is great. And I don't feel like it got boring from the added length, so great arrangement skills.

Memory Boy delay - warms everything up, and I use it later in this for feedback. Big Muff fuzz which I use here for distortion. Then there's a footswitch for the amp which I don't use so much :)
+Phill Ward this music reminds me of a stream of fresh water in sunlit mountains. It's glittering and sparkling in the sun, so alive, never stopping and constantly renewing itself, it's movement is so light and unburdened because it's simple, yet pure and profound
For me the sad thing about learning how to play a song you like is that when you have finally nailed the song it loses it's initial magic a little :) Do you feel somewhat similar?
Kind words, nice images! I've definitely felt that before with certain songs - the magic of a song makes me want to understand it and learn it, but I've sometimes felt the magic then evaporate. Less so recently - I still enjoy this performance as well as Radiohead's. Like the river you described, just let it flow!
Hi, I really love your cover. I have a question about the loop pedal you're using: what model is it exactly? I own the RC-3 which looks similar, but it seems you can stop the playback with a single hit, so you don't have the annoying 4s of overlap if you want to continue playing.
Follow the drum pattern and count in groups of 4 (or 8). The guitar part is trying to put you off, as it is playing groups of 3 over the top. Hence you have to think in 4 and 3 at the same time, but if you can stay locked into the 4 it will make sense. (Also the second guitar line goes in groups of 5, but that's about story!)
I liked it overall but the thumb strumming loop at the end seemed a little off tempo or a little sloppy. I see why not using a pick makes sense. Overall, excellent performance. Just that rhythm guitar part at the end kind of stuck out for me.
The last 2 mins are SO GOOD HOLY CRAP. Actually all of it
Nice one, Alexis! Check out my other vids too :-)
Still watching in 2023🥲🩷
Beautiful cover, one that is appreciated almost a decade after upload.
Cheers!
sick way to record "drums" haha, you nailed it!
For all the Radiohead fans :-)
THANK YOU!!!
Nicely done
Just found this. Beautiful video.
@@brodiep24 Thanks!
That tone is so spot on
The "drum track" in the beginning? ABSOLUTELY fantastic.
I think this really highlights how important is to radiohead, the songs just not the same without “EEEDDDDDDD”.

Thanks man. Share the love!
I was hoping that you were gonna loop the "hey-aaa". But this shows perfect understanding of what makes the original song so great. Great vid!
Mankel Löv haha, I know... I realised after I'd finished that I could have added that line as a guitar part... Glad you enjoyed it, thanks ::
you mean the "EEEEEEEEEEDDDDD"
ive seen this for the first time 6 years ago. still awesome.

Thanks - that's just a basic fender telecaster I borrowed from a friend. He'd stripped the paint for a natural finish!
@@PhillWard Wow! Very unique then!! Thanks for the reply ^^
sick! How come so little view for so much talent

Really great cover!
What pedals do you use here?
Thanks! It's an old Boss RC 2 looper. Plus a bit of Big Muff fuzz and Memory Boy delay :)

Hey, thanks. It's the Boss RC2. Pretty basic so there's always the challenge of finding interesting ways to do things!
Youre awesome dude 😍
wow
This is so damn good. You make me wanna try it, but then--how to do it better than this?
Thanks Aaron - I'm sure you can have a go. And you could add in Ed's backing vocal part, which I forgot to do!
I would love to hear you sing true love waits youre voice is awesome or else evertything in its right place. Do you still make videos
king krull thanks man. Will still be making videos when I can, yes... But can't promise I'll get to those particular radiohead songs :-)
Pretty fuckin good❤
Could you explain the rhythmic pattern please? I have a hard time not getting lost when touching it. Thank you

I don't have a tab... I remember piecing it together from different versions I found online... Ah the best with it though!

Fantastic cover on a beautiful Tele my friend. Is that a custom?
Kind of, yes - my friend and I worked on sanding down the body and setting it up from scratch. But I think it was just a humble squier tele!
66 subscribers? What the fuck??
bring vocal level up or turn the rest down a touch
Nope.
