- Got a Harbor Freight quick hitch on {Labor Day Special 25% off Good Till 9-04-23} My Cost $94 Pretax. I will show you the modifications I made to make this work perfectly. So far I'm in for this $111. Why these hitches get bad mouthed so bad I have no idea I was amazed at the build quality for the price was great. My modifications were super easy to do if you have a welder and some basic skills. I'm gonna show you the whole process. I
should have bought this 5 1/2 years ago what a time saver and a whole whole lot less cussing & Sweating. If you're thinking about buying one of these go get one they are on clearance do these simple mods you can't beat it. Please watch part 2.

I just purchased one but returned it when I realized the smaller lift pins made it only Category 0 compliant.

Yes it works great on the box blade. However more modifications needed for the Bush hog and my 5 foot York rake will not connect. I need to buy or build a quick hitch adapter. I think it's cheaper and much quicker just to buy one there about 30 bucks. As you know the Bush hog alone is over 400 pounds for a 69.5 year old dude that's a lot of weight.

Very nice! Need one myself.. been looking at Pats but they’re pricey compared to your HF set up! I may need to upgrade my box blade ballast to 48v instead of 12v like yours 😂
Yup good use of a 131lb dead battery.
This was "interesting" to say the least. I have 6 (SIX) different 3point implements & l could get ONLY One at a time to "Hook-up" correctly on Level ground,with MODIFICATIONS...( like you Sir have shown). My "Miricale-wonder Quicky-hitcheys " Days are OVER. Everbody& their Brother have "Fell-For" these "PIECES of PURE JUNK..... They "might work" IF; EVERY SINGLE Implement is the Same-EXACT BRAND & made at the same Factory ,& TWO Weeks apart! Telescopic lower link ends are the ONLY WAY TO GO !
