Nice 'bota'! I like my hf hitch too. The top hook is an issue for everyone. I like making all my impliments compatable to my hitch. You do not need to retract the lower arm 'capture' latches when hooking up. The tabs are spring loaded and will latch into place. I'm in and looking forward to seeing you break in that tractor!
Good Morning, we figured that out eventually. Yah once you change out or modify that top hook we haven't had a problem. We do have to buy the adapters for the implements lower arm pins but other than that no problems yet. On the HF shelter , we had one lasted about 3 months we received 40 inches of snow in a day and it collapsed. Seen videos on adding metal and that was and is a very clever ideal. Thanks again for watching and the sub. Look forward to your comments. Ron
Go to tractor supply or order on line a set of collars that slide over pins on brush hog they are about 5 inches long with a 1 inch lqrger end and a pin and use the pin to drive it in with a hammer and it is all you need

Thanks , that's what we ultimately did. Since that video we bought a rear blade and bought the same adapter . Works great. Thanks again.
