Hello Carol, I have just watched your video. I wanted to know how I can find out all the areas of mental health nursing jobs that I can apply to. I only know of acute inpatient, CAMs, PICU, Dementia, CPN. So, What are the areas that are available?
There are a range of other areas, such as addiction services, eating disorder, triage roles, prisons, talking services, working with homeless people, research and in-pt and commmunity specialist roles. Have a look at NHS nursing careers: www.healthcareers.nhs.uk/explore-roles/nursing/roles-nursing/mental-health-nurse Also just keep looking on NHS Jobs and you will see the range of jobs available and different areas. Talk to other mental health nurses too. Hope that helps. 😊
