@@jarbourfarah3658 I’m sorry for your plight my friend but i was once in your shoes before i was recommended to Mrs Georgiana and thats how i passed Nclex
I only studied a lot when i went for the first time last year at but the second time was so easy, all thanks to my aunt who introduced me to Mrs Georgiana am really grateful,
I am so happy for you! My journey is very similar to yours, I'm in an ABSN that finishes in August, and so this gives me so much hope and faith. I've been struggling with my confidence as a student recently and seeing your videos pop back up in my notifications has really reminded me I can do this! Thank you and welcome back!
Thanks for the video! I’m in my last semester of nursing school and plan to stay on the unit I’m on now! I thought this video was really interesting and helpful! So glad you got the unit and hospital you wanted!
I am on the same boat in terms of mentality. I KNOW the units I am passionate about, so I haven't put in applications to other units. I have an ICU interview today!!!!!! Thank you for this video, it makes me feel better knowing I am not the only one who is not willing to settle!
I’m so glad you’re back on RUclips! I was so overwhelmed when I started nursing school and your study tips and organizational strategies really helped me get grip. I was having panic attacks and doubting myself. Anyway, I work part-time as a tech in a surgical ICU at a level 1 trauma center. My dream is to work on this unit as an RN (ideally when I graduate *fingers crossed*). Sorry this is so long, but I so grateful to have come across your channel and I can’t wait to see your future videos!
Don’t ever doubt yourself! You are more than capable and are doing all the right things :) That tech job is going to do WONDERS when it comes time to apply for RN jobs! Best of luck❤️
Thanks to you much Mrs Amilia for helping me achieve my dreams of becoming a licensed nurse. I took the test for 5 good times before i met Mrs Amilia, i really appreciate her good work
So nice hearing you got the department you wanted. I start my senior preceptorship March 1 on the unit and hospital I want to work. I already knew most of this but it’s a nice refresher right before I start!
Where I live there are NO full time nursing jobs despite thousands of nurses in the area being out on strike. As an older student who has kids and needs a full time income and good health insurance and it about to graduate in a few months I am completely freaked out. Also, I'm with you on my strong dislike of med-surge. In general, I do not like any kind of bedside. I would take it temporarily to get my foot in the door if it was a fulltime position, but I would hate my life.
I was wondering what happened to you!! Congrats on your many achievements!! ICU is awesome. I currently work as a PCT on the float team and I plan to stay on the float team when I graduate. :)
In California, we just call what you describe as a New Grad Residency - is just a new grad program, a recently licensed RN who really hasn't worked. Residency is a program for nurses moving from one specialty to another (med surg to ICU, etc), who are not new grads. Also in California New grads get the least experienced rate, not a rate lower like an internship. For example, in a Level 2 trauma center as a New Grad in MedSurg, i was paid $43.04 in 2016. Tele, NICU, ICU and ED all received the same rate I guess because we all got the hardest cases in a level 2. In California, working in your department as a non nurse (tech, cna, pct, etc) is a HUGE DETERRANT to getting hired as a new grad. Congratulations! Nursing school and that NCLEX is BRUTAL.
Congratss, Thats soo exciting! Currently a junior and Im not too fond of medsurg either.. nice to people get specialty jobs without taking the medsurg for a year route. Video idea: how do you prepare for clinical days.. Also I have most of the mark klimek audios and pdf's if u want me to share it with u through email and you can add it to your last video description. lmk!
Some people love medsurg, but its not for everyone 😩 But yes that would be awesome! Is there any way you could DM them to me on insta??? I actually don’t have a public email and I don’t want my private email out there for the world to see. (Nothing against you! But i just dont want others seeing it and sending spam or whatnot)
I made it through her too, she works with the national al council of states board of nursing NCSBN as an I.T engineer for the board data mrs Jennifer thank you
They say third times a charm, am officially a nurse 🎉🎉 for all my repeat test takers don't give up and don't be discouraged.,
You will pass everyone has their own season, just keep going pray and believe you will receive
I failed 3 times, i lost money to scams and reviews that never helped but the major thing is that I've not lost hope
