Hall and Oates has always been a part of my life. The best part of H&O is how well they can adapt to current trends. They manage to keep in style throughout the years. They bring together a unique blend of Rock, Pop, R&B, Soul, and maybe even Jazz. Their music is timeless! I think they have been underrated and deserve much more acclaim then they have received. They have always been a top rate band with the best from vocals, to keyboard, drums, etc. All my very best wishes to H&O and the gang!

Darryl Hall can't sing...this is not singing....this is one of the most beautiful musical instruments that your going to ever hear. The guy is phenomenal. But John Oates is not bad at all either. They both are absolutely above the rest and can out perform any of these guys today..

Pompano Beach, Florida, Ryman theatre in Nashville, Motor City Casino in Detroit, Out doors in down town Columbus, Ohio, and Akron Civic Theatre in Akron, Ohio. Each show was sold out and they got standing ovations at every show ! How they are not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a mystery to me. They are better than ever and have a whole new young fan base, along with us original fans. wake up R and R Hall on Fame !!

Saw them New Year's eve in Ct. They are still great. I think Lyme disease really kicked Daryl's butt and that's the reason he doesn't bounce around as much; but it hasn't taken anything away from his singing. It was wonderful to see them both together.

I don't know why they avoid this & other songs from their Ooh Yeah album at their concerts. They had quite a few nice ones from Ooh Yeah (this one, Downtown Life, ReaLove, Rocket to God, etc).

My guess is that despite the quality of songs on their 1988 album (which is my favorite), sadly none of them were major hits so they probably think most fans only care about their older stuff which there is so much of that it easily keeps them busy, on stage, for a couple of hrs.

@CKYZZIE THat gray-haired bassist is the (saddly) late great Tom "T-Bone" Wolk. He died of a heart attack in the spring of last year at the too young age of 58. He had been H&O's bassist since '83.
