The folk describing Daryl as “high” are totally wrong and clearly not musicians. You can’t perform as brilliantly and as tightly as this if you are “high”. The timing would be off, the lyrics would be off. Definitely not high or impaired in any way whatsoever. Beautifully done. Perfection.

@motownharry T-Bone played bass for a long time and then switched to guitar. He went back to bass occasionally but finished his career playing guitar. He died suddenly in Feb 2010 :( Such a great loss!

I'm confused.... T-Bone is the Best Funk / R&B Bass Players on the planet, I've only watched 2 H&O videos and he's playing Acoustic Guitar in the Rhythm Section... WAZ UP....???? I remember GE Smith and T-Bone playing W/ H&O in the 70/80's live and in Vids, then GE became the Music Dir for SNL, last time I saw SNL Lenny Pickett (Tower Of Power) was doing the honors...
