I just love the handlers giving kisses and how focused the dogs are on the handlers. I'm a dog trainer and find it very impressive.

Oh my yes , Yorkies are the best breed dog I’ve ever been blessed to love. They are so sweet , mischievous and smart. And yes they are like having 3 yr olds for life!! I have 4!!

I think it’s Biewer Terrier? Lol for ages I’ve been pronouncing it “bee-yew-er”. Today I learnt the correct pronunciation 😂
And I heard two my favourites the Chinese crested and the Yorkshire terrier and my third fave was the silky terrier and my fourth and fifth was the Russian toy and long coated chihuahua
And sixth and seventh was the toy fox terrier and miniature pinsher for the eight and ninth was the English toy spaniel and Japanese chin for the las my fave was the one and only Brussels griffon and pug

I hate how many people think small dogs are snappy little monsters but then you have these sweet little angels. It all comes down to how you raise and train them, and responsible breeding.

As a former Chinese Crested owner that's where my heart is.
A Chinese Crested is what I imagine a pooka (an Irish mythological creature) might look like. They're like little fairies.
Love when the announcer says "The Chihuahua" and the automated captions hear it as "not sure what", lmao.
There was also “I’m a radio” for the Pomeranian. 😂 It made me laugh.

all these dogs look so silly but then there's the silky terrier that j. seems like he's above all the silliness. he's got such a serious little face. and then u zoom out and he is just this tiny little guy. love it

I wish a Dachshund would win just one time... there's never been a Dachshund that won in the shows history. The hound group is AMAZING and deserves more recognition. "Trumpet was an AMAZING Bloodhound that won years ago and we must not forget the unforgettable "Uno" that took the entire show. Everyone thinks that thier dog is the best and No one is wrong 🤗
I agree 100 % on all points; thought for Sure that one of the beautiful Dachshunds and the beautiful Bloodhound would have at least been in the Final Four...I was hoping for the Wire-haired Dachshund to win; looked like a 'distinguished gentleman' ❤️

I know an old man trapped with a giant, I mean big dog, while his personality as a person would match a 17th century type of apartment and city dog. Such a show, thanks for posting.

I love when they introduced the Papillion, the subtitles that came up called it the "puppy of happy owners"

English Toys have come a long way in the last 50 years. I remember when they were all slinking around the ring on their bellies. Dreamridge Dear Charles was the first one I remember that actually got up and trotted like a show dog, and even he had a rear that was a disaster area. But he still showed, for all he didn't have a tail on his rump resembling a fireplace poker like this one does.. Now they are much improved in movement and temperament.
Judge delightful,elegant,softly spoken,kind words for everyone....personally not a fan of little dogs at all but Peke adorablecthe way he or she was looking at the owner for approval....Cavalier King Charles always lovely...
The Pomeranian was absolutely FIERCE and should have won in in my opinion. She was strutting her petite dainty legs. This sport needs to become more diverse with young and seasoned people involved. Seems very elitist.

Maybe you can get some friends together to sponsor a young, talented handler. People have the power to improve this sport if they choose to. I'd love to see it.
As a former handler, I do agree with the elitist label. We are talking about dogs that might be worth as much as a hundred thousand $$ or more! Quality dogs cost many thousands of dollars and “finishing” a dog ( winning a championship) may cost several hundred thousands in entry fees, travel costs and, esp. handler costs. There are junior showman completions but the young handler must have access to a quality purebred dog to build any kind of reputation and clients!

I feel bad for some of the dog breeds because of their many health issues. Others were good with less genetic issues. I really loved the Italian greyhound, miniature pincher and the papillon. 💎❤ 🐶❤️ 💎
All dogs have health issues including mutts. Purebred =/= well bred.

I was disappointed there were apparently no Maltese competing, but the transcript was hilarious and cheered me right up. I loved the terrier that was the "most insulting". lol

@@tarotableguidance Possibly cold rather than nervous since that was a hairless Crested and not a powderpuff.
You might like the powderpuff version of the Chinese Crested. Most people are familiar with the hairless version, but the powderpuff has a coat of fur all over (although it still has a longer crest on its head).

I have a 15lbs Yorkie! 😁 Her parents and brother we around 5-7lbs, she just got the recessive trait to be huge 😲 She’s as big as my dad’s Cairns Terriers and some people think she’s a Silky Terrier 😆
I had a Yorkie like that. He was 14lbs and his parents were both under 10. He was crazy and lived over 20 years. Miss ya Preppy, you were loved.

I am fascinated with all the different dog breeds. However, I get distracted over some of the handlers' fashion choices. Their outfits should be pleasant backgrounds on which to highlight the dogs.
