    Nice vid! What is the bracket/mount you have for your quiver? I see you have a bracket for your quiver up higher on your bow instead of mounting quiver to site. Also saw you mentioned buying at Presleys. I live in IL and got my Hoyt PowerMax there. Great store!

      xDIK86x I appreciate it brother! That’s the hoyt 4 arrow carbon quiver that they make! It’s really nice, super light. It has two different mounting brackets for how far you want it from the bow but I have the close one on! Yeah man great store!

    Great review! I have one question though, what's the advantage to two pins vs. one pin and why'd you pick two over one?

    • @everythingwild2409
      @everythingwild2409  4 года назад +3

      Hey thanks for the comment! I choose the two pin because 90% of my hunting scenarios are shot between 20-40 yards. By having a 20 and 40 pin if a deer walks by at any yardage I can shoot it without dialing. The reason two pins over 3 is that my 20/30 yard pin are close enough it’s not necessary and clouds the sight picture.
      Great example of the deer I shot in my profile picture caught me off guard and I knew he was between 30-40 yards so I put the 40 yard pin on his heart and 12 ringed him. If I only had a one pin I would have had to adjust my sight to shoot and the situation didn’t allow for such movement

      @@everythingwild2409 hi there,
      So say your bottom pin is zeroed at 40, does it also serve as your floating pin? I honestly thought your floating pin could not be zeroed and instead whatever indicator on your slider is what distance you shoot at. Sorry I'm new at this. Also, say you use the bottom pin to set your tape, which indicator do you use to shoot at say 80 yards?

    • @everythingwild2409
      @everythingwild2409  Год назад

      @@jonathan_guerrero hello! Your bottom pin doesn’t get sighted In per say, your top pin gets sighted in at whatever distance you want, mine is 25 yards, that is the pin you base your sight tape on. The bottom pin is whatever it lands on, the faster the bow the bigger the will land. For example my bow is 25 top pin and my bottom pin ends up being like 38 yards. If I put the same sight on my wife’s bow and sighted the top pin at 25 her bottom pin would be like 30ish because her arrow droppes faster than mine.

    May be a dumb question but when sight in at 60 do you use top pin? On both the sight and on dial

    • @everythingwild2409
      @everythingwild2409  4 года назад

      You use the top pin for sighting In both! The second pin is for after you select a sight tape and it just gives you a second point of reference. Hope that helps!

    Talking hunting only, I already have an 20 yard pin. What's the difference between this $300 site and if I just add a 40 yard pin to my current $50 sight? Thanks

    • @everythingwild2409
      @everythingwild2409  2 года назад

      Nothing significant, the advantages would be a less cluttered viewing window through the sight housing but in a strictly hunting scenario it’s not an issue. Attempting to shoot at 60 plus yards on targets it does. Hope this helps!

  • @eugenewoo2206

    How does your pins go that far down? My second pin maxes out at 60 and the sight is at the lowest like you mentioned?

    • @everythingwild2409
      @everythingwild2409  4 года назад

      You need to make sure that your sight house is as low as it can go for 20 yards. For example my dial virtually will stop turning at 20 and all of my range of motion is beyond that? Does that make sense? If not I will try and explain further

    • @eugenewoo2206
      @eugenewoo2206 4 года назад

      My sight dial can go higher but would be too low of a shot at 20 yards, if you understand what I mean. I had to basically dial my sight to the middle to shoot 20 yds. How can I fix that?

    • @everythingwild2409
      @everythingwild2409  4 года назад

      Eugene Woo at 5:19 you see that I have moved my sight housing down to the lowest two holes which will allow for maximum range of dialing. Check to see if your sight looks the same ! If it doesn’t I suggest moving it to match. Please continue to ask questions if this doesn’t correct the issue. If necessary I will find a way to exchange photos to ensure you are taken care of man!

    • @everythingwild2409
      @everythingwild2409  5 лет назад +1

      .019 is the diameter of the fiber optic filament. The sight light come independent from the sight and simply threads into the top of the bow sight. The light itself is universal as it simply is adding light to the fibers. You don’t have to get a spot Hogg sight light others will work if you have a different one already. Once you have a sight light you just screw it in and your good to go! Most have a 1-5 level brightness adjustment for different lighting levels! I understand what your feeling I was the same way brother! But at the end of the day this thing is made extremely well and will last me honestly forever. If you have any more questions just ask man! I will help you in any way I can! Thanks for taking the time to check out the video!

    • @everythingwild2409
      @everythingwild2409  2 года назад

      how was your left and right at 20 yards? If it was perfect I would look to why your not hitting consistently at 60 as well. Not 100% which direction to turn it without my bow with me but I would make a small adjustment and write down how many clicks you move it. If it gets worse take it back to where you had it, then turn it the other direction. I think it’s away from the string but I don’t remember 100%.

    • @everythingwild2409

      The housing is aluminum fasteners are aren’t. If the threading of the fasteners gets a coating of rust the friction can cause the fasteners to get stuck in the riser.

    3 pin is better. 20, 30, 40 infinity. Larger sight window too.
