In my head canon, the three failed Jeju Island raids would be something like:⬅
1) Initial attempt to defeat the dungeon. (maybe 4 years ago)⬅
2) Attempt to quickly quell the break with mostly local hunterss. (ASAP to try to protect the inhabitants)⬅
3) Organized raid with several S-Ranks (maybe a couple weeks to prepare. Many locals already daed.).⬅
Since all three attempts failed, the ants have had an unprecedented chance to begin evolving.

Also S2 is just the rest of the 25 episodes promised, and should start to air at the end of this year
Jinwoo raises the soul and extracts the mana from the dead body to create a new body for the soul. So it costs him no mana to raise a new shadow. But if the shadow gets destroyed it cost Jinwoo mana to create a new shadow body for the soul. Now when a shadow is raised they also get nerfed to a certain extent. The shadow can get back to it's original strength but it takes time and effort.

The evolving thing is specific to insect type monsters and the gate broke 4 years ago so there has been lots of time for the ant’s evolution on Jeju Island
The time and level of opponents affecting shadow extraction makes it improbable for him to acquire super strong shadows before he gets significantly stronger but there is always the chance to level up and try again later if the monster or person is outside the dungeon
Great episode and finally a class for sung to use as a focus for his skill point distribution and since all stats gain a level when he levels up the other skills he worked on to start will keep rising as well
Also he just likes daggers, and since he has 2 op daggers right now he’s not gonna swap to a different style of combat yet
Daggers are definitely a good choice! Many times I've chosen them in videogames. I love that he dual-wielded them too, so freaking rad! Thanks for answering some of our questions as well. Excited to see how the evolution plays a part in the story

flying pretty much means that they can't ignore the threat now even if they wanted to since they can just fly now to mainland and start attacking cities.

I don't know about you guys, but I don't think I have it in me to wait for six seasons to drop until we get an ending for the story so I'm hoping that we wrap things up with 3 seasons max.
about adaptation to shortened, i mean they can butcher it up like 'god of highschool' , skipping story and just fight flare here and there but at the end of the adaptation i dont think think anyone want next season 😅😂.
