My dad has this vhs tape. I watched it like 3 times a day. I was young and dreaming of owning these sleds. Now it's funny how far sleds have come over the years. Still loving cat. Riding a zr 6000.
Memories of the 4 years I was invited to ride the New model year Cats in the promotional videos 1994 thru 1998. The orders were "Ride these machines hard, bring them back in one piece, and have fun". Now pushing 60 I can look back at when Arctic Cat's looked like Snowmobiles, not Crotch Rockets like today's Garbage.
Arctic Cat sleds still on top!They have been on top of there game since the beginning! I rode Polaris sleds for 20 years,finally got fed up working on them,so I went to Arctic Cat!
I bought a '99 Jag DLX 440 cheap & fixed it up (Even put a bone yard reverse box on it). Then bought a 2000 ZL550 cheap and fixed it up. Can't see spending the big money on the new stuff. If some one went all out on factory boots, suit, Helmet, under wear, gloves, etc...They would spend as much as I did on the Jag 440 after full fix up!

At least “today’s garbage” runs more than One day without turning a wrench. This era of arctic cats were pure garbage. I’ve worked in them a lot.
I still have my 93 580 EXT Mountain Cat. My 998 turbo is way more comfortable, and way faster.
@curetek
Oh stop now. I liked the sleds in the past, but you must admit that they are more maintenance free today.
My 93 ext 580z is smooth and comfy still
Had a new from dealer floor 94 jag deluxe, this brings me back

It was the start of the muscle sled wars. Had some kinks to work out. Plus... it was the 90's. Just look at the clothing styles. Fresh Prince?
