I've noticed this thing is a beastly jet in downtiers, but as soon as you get a 10.3-10.7 br, I struggle. So many jets at that br are just way better than you. I'm really just trying to figure out how to fly it effectively. I take min fuel with drop tanks because you can always drop those in a fight and immediately be less weight and less drag. When I land, I just Q and E to yaw and break the landing gear to grind to a faster stop so I'm not braking for 30 seconds. A drag chute would be nice. Also, combat flaps are only viable at low speeds, anything around 380 mph or more and they'll rip in my experience so far. I'd like to see it go to 9.3 br for sure.
I’m sorry but the dogfight performance is excellent. You are taking way too much fuel. It burns fuel very slowly. Take ONE drop tank and min fuel. You will out turn and out energy F5C at early stage of the game. And min fuel hunter will hold its own against anything it can see that’s not a F5E.

My first Hunnter. I really like it for all kind of encounters. It may underperform in many areas, but you often fight against lvl5 su25 and f5-c; not a big problem
I just did a review of the He-162, so it'll be a while (I try not to get aircraft that are like .. too similar, or from the same spot in the same tree, etc, too close together) but I'll get to it eventually - its another one I love to fly.
Just curious, if you are planning to review any Finnish vehicle, would you like to try some Finnish words? also will you make playlists based on nations so technically if we want to see just a playlist of us vehicles all the us vehicles could be watched or same with germany or anyother nation? or will you make someday a longer video going over lets say sweden planes from rank 1 to rank 7/8 and do like a tier list of them
So nice to see our country in this game with its… more or less… standalone Jet. I stand by it: Switzerland would be an AMAZING country to be added. Much like Finnland, but this time for Germany. Switzerland started off with the BF109s, went all the way to the P51 Mustangs, had the Vampire, the Venom, the Hunter.. they even had a Mirage, over to the F-5E Tiger II and are now with the F/A 18 How versatile is that? You would get an easy to implement line, the planes „could“ be copied more or less and you‘d have one hell of a line up
I mean, not to be funny but you just named other nations things we already have in game. If you want your own tree you need to name unique things that can form the backbone of both an air and ground tree and be fleshed out with copy/paste stuff, not the other way around.
@@MrEsphoenix I am sware yes. But let‘s be real. Gaijin is lazy and if there‘s a way they could add a new Tree, it would be most likely as a Copy Paste one. Theoretically Switzerland has made modifications to the vehicles that sets them apart from the others. As you see, a Hunter with RWR and Flares, the F/A 18 we have currently has been modified to fit our quite limited airspace. It‘s lighter and more agile than it‘s US Original. Same with the F-5E Tiger II. You could also apply the same for it‘s Ground Forces. The vehicles are similar, their performance however is not always the same. That‘s why I could see it being added as a sub-tech tree because you could use a lot of ingame models and then play with their performance
@@PerriThePlatyPilot But that's awful for the game. It messes up match making and adds yet more grinding there just aren't enough vehicles or variety to justify a separate tree. If you mean a sub tree in another nation, that could maybe work, but it would be a bit unfair when they get a load of vehicles made by another nation. It's bad enough when there are one or two. Best result for gameplay would be continuing as they are by adding vehicles in the relevant nation (bar the hunter which they just added it to Germany for no reason). I get that it's nice to be represented with a unique tree, but unless you have the vehicles to flesh it out it's not in anyone's interest, as you won't be able to make decent lineups anyway, and gaijin are already struggling to add something to every nation each update.

Man, the first hunter with countermeasures, rwr and TV guided missiles and they give it to fucking Germany. It would have been really nice to fill a gap in the British tree with a capable hunter again. The joke is they claim they don't let real world politics effect the game, yet whenever relations are bad between Britain and Russia we get completely screwed over in game with decisions so blatantly giving us the middle finger that it's just further insult that they won't just admit what they're clearly doing.
The F53 was added at 9.3, but it’s British counterpart, the FGA 9, was at 9.7 with no flares or drop tanks and only AIM-9Es. So they flipped the BRs for balance.

The stock grind is absolutely atrocious on this thing. At stock it worse than a 9.0 Hunter but you have to play against 10.7. Bruh.

I reviewed the Finnish Mig-21Bis recently, I think thats the only one so far though.

9.3 was ok but gaijinnn ever ruin the game
