I just downloaded iOS 15.1 now I’m having this issue. No sound on either end of calls. No issues before the download…Siri also not working, no audio on video recodordings
My calls are either: no one can hear me and I can’t hear them, or my calls go straight to call failed. Only way to talk to the gf is FB messenger video chat. Had a friend call me on messenger audio fine. Siri, recording messages to send people, etc. Bluetooth headphones are hit or miss whether it’ll work or not. I recently updated to 15.3.1 but not sure if it immediately started after the update or not. Edit: mic doesn’t work on Snapchat videos either iPhone 7 Plus …trying to hold out a few more months before upgrading
@@rickstechrepairs so man i have iphone 7 and i can make and recieve like 2 calls and then when someone calls me i pick up and it says connecting it wont connect, but when i restart my phone i can again make and recieve 2 calls idk what is this
Hello, This problem has been happening I think because I smacked the phone pretty hard on the floor. Here's the thing though: I have audio in all situations EXCEPT when I try calls!!! and they also dont hear me. Pretty damn weird.
also when i plugged my lightning adapter earbuds into the jack it wouldn’t play audio in it but it would play on the speaker and on some calls with out speaker on i would just hear a buzz or whizz come out of the top speaker
@@danielyany8666 for me it happened randomly as well. i think it’s a flaw on the iphone 7 and i’m pretty sure if it’s fixed it might happen again i’m not sure
Just updated to the current software and connected my new AirPods with the iPhone 7+ and then all these issues started happening can only call with AirPods otherwise when I call someone or someone calls me I cannot hear them or they cannot hear me, also voice memos don’t work. Would that be because of the phone, the AirPods are new so I doubt it would be them.
@@rickstechrepairs ah right yeh Bluetooth works and I also looked it up about how when starting the phone it gets stuck on the apple logo. Would the phone still function if I don’t get it fixed? I’ll probably get a new phone towards October now, I have had it for a long time. I just don’t want to loose everything on the phone I just hope it doesn’t turn off by the time I get it
My speaker works fine to watch this video , but during calls I cannot hear a ring if I am making the call . If I am receiving a call I can’t hear when I answer ( the person on the other end cannot hear me either) the speaker icon is greyed out at Will. No microphone audio on tik tok or other social media . What do I need to do?

Got ringer sound and audio playback from videos. After iOS upgrade, no speaker or mic audio during calls. It was working fine before upgrade. Nothing wrong with hardware; this is a pure software issue caused by Apple. iPhone is a bag of shyte.

all my audio works but when i recive a call i can hear the ringtone but i cant hear the person and they cant hear me why?
I would suspect that the ear piece speaker grill at the top of your iPhone would need a clean

You’re right it happened to me after dropping it from like 6 feet high flat on its back… 😞 ALL audio works except on calls
