My neighbor owns leases one every two years and he says after that it’s a money pit. That is why he never buys one, but he loves the style and comfort.
Well done ...the "rich family friendly" is an appropriate distinction . I don't have kids but its nice that you always show how the child seats or boosters work. I'm an uncle and that's an important thing I would not have considered....there are so many rules in grown up-ing 🤔
Love this, I have a good size of 6 all together, and we do it in a X7, it was the most fun mid size SUV to fit us. Hard for any three row SUV, that isn't a full size to fit big and tall comfortably and cargo. I imagine this comfortable off road capable hauler.
Loved Micah in diff channels (both in air and on the ground 😂) but this "family format" kills it for, can't push myself through it anymore... see you in a flippity flop
Land Rover did a good job on the exterior styling, however, IMO, the interior is marred by the use of (many) exposed Torx screw heads. Sorry, but that looks cheap - like something you'd expect to see in a cheap car from years ago. Love the "Morning Mayhem with Loud n Firm" ....on *KWAK* 690 🦆 LOL!!! 🤣
@@RRLV434 There's absolutely *nothing* 'rugged' about this interior. Exposed bolt/screw heads does not say 'rugged'. This is a luxury-vehicle interior, hands down.
@@citibear57No, it's a throwback to the old Defender. It's not a luxury interior, it doesn't even have carpet. Defenders come with a rubber floor and an exposed magnesium beam running across the dash and exposed door panels on the inside. It's nice but definitely more rugged looking than luxurious.
The issue I have had with current LR seats is the lack of thigh bolsters, during harder cornering smaller people may slide around a good bit in the seat
Ha! 😆 Hilarious how Micah says “and if you’re curious about all the problems we’ve had with our Bronco” in a joyful upbeat tone with a big smile on his face.
Great review. But these things are so unreliable and delicate, I feel bad for the owner every time I see one. Like, do they not read car reliability reviews at all?
I am a big Land Rover fan, and I really like the new Defender (it being new, as I am a classic Defender fan for sure). I wish someone would address the styling mistake on the 130. NO ALPINE WINDOWS. Which would not really stand out except both the 90 and 110 have them. What gives?
Loved seeing your review of the defender Micah. One thing about Land Rover is it’s a great off-road machine and will go a lot of places. I loved mine when I had it of course. I had the LR4. The other surprising thing was that Land Rover had a New Jersey license plate on it. Interesting.
Grandiosos sus videos. He visto varios; bien editados, con buenas explicaciones de cada Toyota, FORD, Chevrolet, etc, etc y ahora el Land Rover Defender. Es una nave, como el capitán Kirk en el Enterprise. Hermoso montero inglés. ¡GRACIAS! {Thank You} Micah. Un abrazo fuerte a toda la familia {A big hug to the whole family}
There was alot of censoring in this video 🤣🤣🤣. I think it's awesome that your daughter has all of these videos to look back on and say "Look at all the years of documentation of me growing up!"
Muzios!! I prefer the 90, just because I happen to be a short person. No laughter, please. Lol. The design is really nice, but does it carry the reliability nightmares of Defenders past?? Most likely, I'm sure. Great review you guys, looking forward to more.
On the climate, there is a setting for "Auto air flow: The blower speed, for automatic operation, can be set to Soft and Quiet, Balanced, or Powerful and Fast." Perhaps your issue was the air flow being too low for the summer sun.
@@MicahMuzio Ah, darn. Seems like there may have actually been a defect. I am a 2021 owner and do not have this issue, and I have not seen it mentioned on the owner's groups and forums.
It doesn’t look like that. If you don’t like cars that cost a lot of Kirby just say that… 😅 that’s actually completely fine and understandable but this comment was odd
I just can't deal with the maintenance. A family hauler should be easy af to fix and naturally aspirated or ev really...the youtuber mechanics can't even revive old range rover/land rovers and the costs are exorbitant...meanwhile mk1 civics, old vws and even some mostly totalled vettes get restored...
Doesn’t need to be naturally aspirated turbos have been around for quite some time and I think you all group mentality too much around topics like this, can we chill? What do the numbers say about failure rate? Like can we add some logic in beside just feels ?
Fun, playful, informative, good editing. You guys are killing it.

Love my Defender. 2 years no problems. Unlike my Bronco.
How long did you have your 110? Any ownership issues?
I have a 90 but I'm ordering a 110 to replace my other vehicle. Zero issues and I love it.@@ryanjcoon1

I love the new Defnder but personally prefer the 110 over the 130. I just feel it doesn't look proportionate in that variant.
What did I win? 😅

Saw one of these today, passenger side DRLs out. 2023 model;)..Trust LR with all the gremlins you have nightmares about..
6:50 am I crazy or is this melody just slightly reminiscient of foo fighters "learn to fly"

PS The interior looks too rugged and cheap for my preference. I like a more luxurious and refined interior.
Outstanding spec. Wish they could fix the reliability issues. Till then looking forward to a new Land Cruiser instead.
I would go for the 110 with inline 6!
Great review. But these things are so unreliable and delicate, I feel bad for the owner every time I see one.

I picked my neighbour up from the LR agent because he’d left it to have a warning light fixed for a safety option that wasn’t even fitted to his car.
Yes but apparently you haven't. The Defender is made in a new billion dollar state of the art factory and it's reliability has been really good.
LoL right.
2 years no problems. Love mine.

It's not too hard to figure out the differential situation. All Defenders have an active locking center diff so any talk of optional is the rear only.

Nice review as always. It would have been really cool to take it off-road more but i completely understand why you didn't.
The division of Loud and Firm roles between husband and wife is pretty self-explanatory.
7/10ths pace is definitely prudent while dunking nugs.
😊🤭

Thanks for the suggestion. I definitely played around with various blow speed options but the issue was with air temperature.

Buy one that’s two years old for half off the original price and then dump it before it goes out of warranty. 😂
Look up two year old defenders, they cost almost the same as new ones.

@LafemmebearMusic the numbers say the failure rate is imminent you should look them up...they are the definition of abysmal
A Toyota GH has more room behind third row and second row than this 130 or whatever.
That's no good for an African overland expidition.
Trite, uninformative tosh. If you want to carry 8 adults and luggage better get a minivan
